died in PVP, kicked "for flying"

@godsdead you could do this, or you could make it so that a disconnect as a result of a kick doesn’t kill you when you are combat tagged

Please take a second and think before posting. “Oh no im in a PVP battle! wait I can just log off, look at the map until they are gone and then come back“. Do not reply to this, this is day 1, book 1, page 1 kind of server moderating mate.

Its just shit, I’m going to replace it when we move to 1.10 properly.

I would like to make one last remark. Recoil was in just iron, I in God, and you were In cap gear. To state that you fought us both off is a huge mistake. I sat and watched recoil to see if he could kill you. So, idk man…

What is cap gear? I was in iron. But yeah I was mostly fighting him, I wasn’t sure what you were up to.

I have been using 1.10.2. I didn’t realize the server was 1.9.4. I thought if it were a different version, it would not let me play without matching my version to the server.

I don’t know how to check my server ping. My best guess is somewhere around 100-250ms based on the response time when I use the /ping command.

I was in iron with leather booths (cuz I’m cheap, I confess), and you were in Pro. 2 Iron with a sharp 3 sword. I admit, I was having trouble and build stepped in.

Build’s sword was god, so it had knockback, so it blasted you off the edge of the dock. The dock was high up, so you got kicked for flying.

There it is folks, hope that clears things up for you.

I got kicked after getting stuck in a block trying to climb up the dock, and spending about 3-4 whole seconds trying to free myself. He may have hit me, but that’s not when or why it happened, and also his sword didn’t kill me.
