    I’m so excited to announce an update to our crew mechanics. I hope you find them as cool as I do. Until I can get complete documentation, here is what you need to know:

    /crew create FOC Founder Of Crews

    This creates a crew with the tag “FOC” and the name “Founder Of Crews”, this costs $10. The crew will last 90 days from the last time someone in the crew logs in. Limited features and must be a Cadet rank or higher to use.

    /crew verify

    This costs $100. It allows your crew to have allies, rivals, and a sethome. Additionally this gives you access to “/crew setrank Player Rank Name”. Once verified, you crew will last 365 days from last activity.

    Once your crew establishes allies, chat with them using “/ally” or “/a” for short.

    Crew homes are now WAY more expensive. It will cost you $500 to set or move the home. In addition the normal cost of tele-port is imposed $15. You will also see a 15-second warm up timer while waiting.

    Other useful commands:

    /crew lookup MCShovel
    /crew profile OZ
    /crew bb <add message here, or nothing to read>
    /crew leaderboard
    /crew kills MCShovel
    /ally mute (toggles ally chat)
    /c mute (this is *suppose* to mute crew chat, currently broken)

    To begin talking only to crew:
    /c join
    To go back to global chat:
    /c leave

    To begin talking only to allies:
    /a join
    and again to go back to global chat:
    /a leave

    As always, use “/crew” by itself for help in game.

    New Features

    • Allys/rivals/wars
    • Custom ranks can be created for players in your crew
    • You have your own in-game forum! a BB (Bulletin board)
    • All kills are now tracked! we have a leaderboard, we have k/d ratios, we have rivalry kills tracked!
    • You can see your crew current coords
    • You can see your crew vitals, health/weapons
    • You can view all your crew stats!
    • Crew names/tags can have multiple colors (not currently available, may be donator only in the near future)

    There is a lot of detail to write up, please be patient with us! I would just love to say a giant thank you to @mcshovel for creating us a custom script to convert all existing crews from the old plugin to this new one! This was no small feat!

    so theres a crew limit to the max members now, idk what its exact number is, but i cant add more at 148 members just fyi :3

    What is the purpose of the FOC? Also may I ask if current crews will be saved along with their sethomes?

    Thanks for your hard work guys this looks to be really cool. Haven’t been able to check it all out yet since our leader hasn’t been on so we aren’t verified yet.

    One question though. Is the crew home warp now 15$ every time you go to your crew home? If your already paying 610$ total to get set up why such a steep warp cost?

    I don’t have the ability to make a lot of money currently and as an example:

    This last week I was in charge of building a blaze farm at our crew home portal. This required me to warp back and forth a lot for supplies several times a day. Had this fee been in place I wouldn’t have been able to finish the project as I live an 30 to 40 min walk in real time from our crew home and have never had more than 200$ in my balance at one time. I was really looking forward to using that thing everyday.

    Once I’m rich I won’t care. 🙂 and I suppose if there weren’t any warps at all I would be hotfootin it or sailing around anyway, or maybe moving my entire base to the crew home, or get a job.

    Just a bit of sticker shock is all. This place keeps me on my toes which is a good thing otherwise it would be boring. We will adapt and overcome as always.

    While you are elbow deep in the code, might I ask for a feature I thought of the other day?  ?

    It would be really handy (esp.for sub divided claims) to be able to set permissions to an area on a crew-wide basis. That way as people join or leave, the perms are automatically given or taken. Kind of like an Active Directory group, if you are familiar with that. Not sure if the claiming plug in can be modded like that, but I thought it would be a handy addition.

    So, for example, you have a small bldg you want the whole crew to have access trust to, you could then get inside it and type ‘/accesstrust Ender’ and anyone who joined Ender automatically gets trusted, and if they leave, then they then are un-trusted.

    We had this exact thing for the last 6-7 months, with our old crew plugin, this is an entirely new crew plugin (we didn’t make it) that does not have griefprevention compatibility, sadly. I have requested it. I was the one that got the compatibility added in the first one. Apparently grief prevention is possible to give trust to a permission group, I have no idea if this works, or if players are able to set a trust based on permission group/rank but you could try. The crew plugin automatically creates a permission based on the tag of a crew so this may work /trust clan.CREWTAG that may, if you are allowed add the permission node for that crew, so whoevers in that crew should get trust? test it, report back if it works, if it does, Ill find a way to make it work without the clan. at the beginning.

    Yeah its $15 a pop to teleport, the initial prices before were way too low. We dont want to make it easier to go to war with a giant crew and have the teleport a pittance, if you have a large crew everyone can chip in a small amount to reset it, and then use it as a quick warp to battle!

    I was wanting to put the cost up anyway, seemed like a good time to. Plus anyone that already set a crew home got all their homes migrated, for free!

    plus Im thinking into the future here, on my todo list is redoing the eco, that will make everyone rich as hell again.

    Mix that with all the other teleporting methods, and we have too many already.. Im happy with the cost 🙂 its like having a shared /home, the privilege comes at a cost!

    All crews were migrated with their sethomes; FOC is an example of a TAG as they have to be between 2-5 characters, its an abbreviation of the crew name.
