Claims were removed

I’ve been playing off and on for years and have donated a number of times as recently as June and was planning to again. I usually play for a month and then log out for two or three. It’s never been a problem and my last login was NOT that long ago. I came back this time to find that nearly all of my claims have been removed, thousands of blocks, and other people have claimed over and destroyed much of what I have done. My fort, my ships, just about everything except my vault which thankfully is on donor island. I’m honestly not sure if I am going to continue playing any more after this if I can’t at least have my claims restored on my fort which is still somewhat intact and my unfinished ships.

My fort and the ships in the harbor and some other areas like the plaza with the fountain was all mine. The coords are: X: 364 Y: 83 Z: -3943

Staff will look into this. In the meantime, do you have any screenshots of you building it? Also what date/year did you join the server (if you don’t know that’s fine), it is relevant to why the base was found by the current claim owner unclaimed in the first place.

When did you start playing?

We’ve had an issue recently where players who played a long long time ago had their claims overwritten, and as such some old claims were removed. I can’t remember that base having its claim removed – I know I would have not removed a claim on a base like that with several ships.

We’ll look into it.

Hey Alastes, as the others have said, if you can give us more information we can look into it.

Heres the forum thread about the claims getting overwritten, but without more information we wont know if you were part of that bug

Unless you had all your claims in a densely populated area close to someone else? can you maybe post a link to the map aswell? you just go to the map, zoom in to the locations and you click the link icon bottom left, then you can copy/paste that link in here.

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to respond on this until now. I looked back through my e-mails and when I created my account and it looks like I started playing on 8/8/2014. I do have some old screenshots from when I was building a few things and of my fort area in general. I don’t have one large all encompassing screenshot but I’ve attached a bunch and I have more I can send. I also had some screens from creative of me designing the fountain in the plaza next to the fountain and my fort and I attached that.

It is the fort, the dock with the tower at the end in the water, the uncompleted ships and the completed ship, and the small town plaza and stable next to it. I also have a small lighthouse off the coast nearby. In the time since it was claimed over there has been some changes made, a couple of small buildings added in the town area and cosmetic changes to the fort. There was also another ship that was 90% completed in the harbor that is missing, I assume it was finished and taken. I also had claims on a lot of the surrounding water so that I could expand my shipbuilding and docking.

I didn’t store any valuable goods other than the ships there thankfully, just the buildings and lots and lots of hard work. I don’t know what all has been changed and if it can even be restored but would appreciate any help!

And just to add to my last post it looks like the completed ship still has my claim on it. Which explains why it is still there I guess. I’m not sure why that claim stayed but all my others disappeared.

I have one last screenshot to attach that I just found on my old hard drive that is the earliest one from 2014 and inside the walls of my fort before the massive keep in the center has been constructed.
