Claim bug

Today I had some mail telling me some people had be blowing up parts of my base.

What I didn’t realise was this was actually in the claim I believed to be safe after I claimed it.

They had found an area for some reason under my claim which hadn’t been claimed.

They had then blown that up and then some of the building which was also unclaimed had been blown up.

I was then taught by Elexander that if I moved some of my claimed blocks down I could claim more.

I found this helpful but incredibly stupid.

I believe a claim should be from Max Build Height to Bedrock.

I do not know if you weren’t aware from this but I would be very much appreciated and many others if you could fix this glitch or bug.

Though I do think you shouldn’t be able to claim under people’s bases.

You don’t seem to be able to claim under a claimed area where it says it’s not claimed (like your situation). I originally tried to reclaim the area when I was experiencing this issue, and when I did, it told me that I can’t claim over other claimed areas. However, I believe the reason for this issue is because if it didn’t exist, then you might have issues travelling around in the Nether world due to it’s odd layout. (There’s different floors in the Nether.)

That’s my guess though and even so, I agree that it’s VERY annoying.

The issue was Palmerageddon was claiming above what he wanted claiming assuming claims went from bedrock to sky.

This is not the case, once you have created your brand new claim, you have to explore and build up/down for the claim to expand, or when you are creating or resizing a claim resize it from a block at bedrock/sky to claim that area.
