I haven’t updated the Teamspeak server since 2015, Teamspeak have always had backwards compatibility between client versions and the server, until very recently with the latest update. Sadly they broke this trend and you can only connect to the ts server using the latest client now.

• You can update your Teamspeak by clicking “Help > Check for update” or download from https://teamspeak.com/en/downloads
• Nothing was lost in the update.
