So I was just recently banned on PirateCraft for using excessive language. I would like to appeal for an unban. the reason why I was acting up is because I was having a really bad day that day and people were making it worse for me. I just came to the point were I used my words and I didnt think about what i was saying when I shouldve. I love this server it is what brought me back into minecraft after one year!!! I was just having some health related issues with a family member thats why I was on edge and earlier that week a kid that I knew from a while back just commited suicide :(. So thats why I was acting up and I really hope that you guys and gals can unban me because this server means alot to me and I was just hoping to get back on this server with a clean slate.

Well from seeing your mouth last night it was foul like we told you more than 9 times to cool it but you didn’t.

Even though the excessive cursing was unnecessary, I think you deserve a second chance.

Lately I have noticed that a lot of players (mostly from the British Empire) have been overreacting to curse words and filling out pointlessly long reports about why the person cursing should be banned. I think he server overall should react more calmly to the swearing and at worst give the swearer a temporary ban. I think there are far worse things to be banned for.

Also, Compton was technically not swearing as he only said one letter of the word and asterisked the rest out.

There are pictures of him openly saying words unfit for younger children too see without any censoring

Compton was also warned many times but he continued it.

Celtic this is a mature server. Pirate insults or creative insults are fine but straight up cursing has always been looked down upon.

Celtic is right though the staff are more lenient towards the old players and the BE cursing and then when someone has a really bad week and cuss that night because of lots of stress from a hurt loved one and a childhood friend that killed himself doesnt get any leniency!

_outtacompton_ people do make mistakes… however it is a consequence of our own actions. No one made you act like you did and I am sorry you have gotten banned for it. The fact that you have had a tough week doesn’t excuse your language. Staff members do not know if your week was really bad or if you are making that up for a second chance. I would like to believe you and so should anyone else. A week ago Thursday I “broke”(severely sprained, chipped off some bone) my ankle. 2 days later my grandma passed away. And then today I have been throwing up because of the flue. My reaction to these horrible events isn’t to vent on a minecraft server where younger kids look up to other players and latch on to words that are used in chat. I agree with you that favoritism may be used when judging bans however those favorites have proved themselves on the sever.. they have the trust of the Admin’s until that is broken. The fact that crappy situations happen all the time in life doesn’t excuse a momentary lapse of judgement. I’m sorry but hopefully you can learn and not repeat the same mistake on another server.
