[bug] Doors wide open !

I got quite a scare when I came online and some of my iron doors were wide open. Even some piston doors or portcullis were activated and open.
The iron doors or pistons will not work when using the buttons for them.
Breaking the doors and placing them again will result again in an open door – even when removing all buttons as well.

I am not sure what caused that as it does not affect all iron doors, just some.

Just in case you guys are all heading over to my -now open- base. No worries, I placed sb all over and built myself into a corner.

This is pretty weird, though I think I might have encountered the same bug on Sunday. I was trying to set up a redstone system on a manowar and for some reason, the redstone on one end would always get powered without there being a lever or a redstone torch. I’ll check if this is still happening for me or if I can replicate it since it’s a rather interesting bug 🙂

Me and yeti had this same problem but with rails. The rails were being powered so the carts would just stop in their tracks(literally xD). I think it’s a glitch where there was a lagspike and now the server still thinks there is a something powering it.

Thanks Galaxy. But It should not be a lagspike. Nothing should have been powered when I was NOT logged in. I was online for about 30 min and the doors stayed that way the entire time ( I screen-recorded some of it).

This is pretty major as one cannot fully secure a base using iron or piston doors. And the fact that some doors work and some don’t makes it a hit’or’miss lottery.

I bet @GodsDead will be looking into it.

MUHAHAHAHA – I feel so silly.

As it turns out I was victim of a humorous late April fools prank. One absolutely, over-the-top funny, not-to-be-named pirate placed hidden levers under the doors and by the piston contraptions. Totally got me.

@GodsDead , no need to investigate anything. It’s all good.

Oh, the resource pack is “Meine Kraft, x64” by Honeyball – but still from 1.6.2 .
I love it so much I can’t let go. 🙁
