Unban Appeal

Let me create some backstory first. I am a developer, and I have used Java for Minecraft before (most of the time just for simple private play). I have been on this server for about a year now (not hardcore player, mainly to interact with the community). So, on 6/9/17, I was talking in chat and decided to ask if Auto Clickers/Auto Miners were allowed. Then, I followed it with saying, “Yeah I can make one, I’m a Java developer.” People asked me if it was hacks, but I said no. I just said it was ahk (Auto Hotkey.) I was never going to use ahk, and I don’t have a record of ever hacking on this server. After, around five minutes, I was banned for talking about hacks. Now I didn’t know that this was a rule, and I will keep this in mind next time. However, the thing I didn’t get was why I didn’t get a warning. Clearly, I am somewhat “new” to the server. I have interacted with the community before. I am asking to be appealed, and I won’t repeat this offense. I didn’t know ahk was considered a hack. It is simply a macro.

TL;DR I was banned w/o warning bc I said ahk.

Stating this really won’t help your case… How do we know that you won’t use your experience to mod (or indeed to create macros) that give you an unfair advantage over others?

This is simply your word… When one gives their word, what’s to say that they won’t break it? Also… If you weren’t intending to use it, then why even talk about it? Dangerous territory here.
