Reason: For his attitude and being a little shit
Okay, I wanna talk about a friend who was banned a while ago for “no reason”. Above are details of his ban made by SmokeRiver, P.S. the reason is a lie. This is what happened… My friend was playing on PirateCraft when he “stupidly” said I love you to SmokeyRiver. I am not encouraging his act but also not encouraging his ban… It is extremely unfair if you ban someone for “free speech” (plus it’s not like he cursed). However you could mute him for “inappropriate messaging”, so can you please unban him his new name is GodOfTheChickenz.

I remember AwesomeCickenRex, he was annoying at times (mainly) because of his cocky-attitude and his constant boasting. But most of the Times he was cool. I very much doubt he will be unbanned though, admins, especially SmokeyRiver hates him.

Let’s talk about “free speech” that you mentioned. I’m not usually preachy like this, but this is important for people to hear.

Freedom of speech is meant to protect people from legal persecution for expressing their opinions, beliefs, and feelings. It means the government can’t arrest you or prosecute you for voicing ideas, even when those ideas are critical of, or contradictory toward those of the state.

It’s not freedom to be an ass to others. Threatening and/ or abusive speech can land a person in civil court, and though they may be reasonably protected from incarceration, they can still face reparations fines, dismissal from employment, and marks on their permanent record.

In the future, please be more respectful of the phrase “free speech.” We are lucky to live in a time and place that affords us this protection when such a large part of the world lives without it. The more we devalue the idea by taking it for granted, such as warping the meaning of the phrase to suit our own agendas, the more room we allow for a future opportunity to lose it.

AwesomeChickenRex was one of the guys who pestered smokey for about an hour, and before that released a torrent of racist jokes. Back it up with chat logs maybe, before you make an accusation?

Wondered what happened to that guy. I let him settle near my land when he was new, but he got raided and griefed so often he decided to leave one day. I guess there must have been a reason he was a constant target…

Hey, about a yearish or so ago I was ban for advertising. I was desprite, and I am sorry I did that. PirateMC is a very fun server, and I would like a second chance at playing. Can I please have that privlage? My minecraft name is currently _Lord_Steampunk, and im IP ban
