Developer presented a “fix” that may or may not fix crews being deleted. I have applied this update, and I have pushed a backup of crews and members from the 9th to the database, this is now live.

I will keep this thread open to diagnose if there are any more issues, if after a few reboots everything is fine then reply in this thread and I will close it.

Current Crew stats:

• Crews: 224
• Players in crews: 1463

That one thing was knowing an abusing a glitch for 3 months, and not reporting it. I mean, if I suddenly realised I could get into a base by abusing a glitch, I would pester the staff, 24/7, to get it fixed. Anyone with a sense of decency would do that. However, you used it to your own advantage, and only came clean once you realised the game was up. That’s not commendable, that’s downright disgraceful.

You have potential? Lemme guess, the staff are oblivious to your many talents, if people understood your creative genius, no one would want you banned. Dude, building a few houses doesn’t make you exempt from the rules. Staff, please close this and ban him already.

I asked people if their leaders left the crew to figure out if that was the error occuring, everyone said no,but in the logs there is this (snippet)

You knew this to be the most OP bug on the server, and knew of it for three months, and only now, once you are caught, you feel the need to inform staff. Having used this bug, for THREE BLOODY MONTHS! YOU KNEW OF A GLITCH, AND ONLY NOW INFORM STAFF AFTER GETTING YOUR FAIR USAGE OUT OF THIS? Dam right, you better surrender. Dam the rest of you scummy lot for defending this guy. As if posting pictures of helping a newbie, or a shoddy stone wall, will get you unbanned, as you allow people, yourself included, to abuse a glitch for three months. I’m done, Ii really am, with the general attitude of some people. Name, the fact you can defend someone like this actually sickens me. You have the mindset that the BE is the bad guy in this? When these guys have been raided by someone abusing glitches?

I really can’t be more clear in saying I didn’t think it was still a thing or that I am passive most of the time, so I surrender, I give up trying, but I now understand that this bug still exists, and I would very much appreciate it to be formally notified to the admins, because it is by far the most op glitch in existence on this server, apart from people with mindsets like Gen_Ben, who are out to ruin good things. I am endorsing michty’s statement from above. He stated it as it happened.
I witnessed Ben_SkyWalker_ coming somehow through a closed iron door under siege conditions which can only be described as glitching.

Luckily we did not give him time to tp his friends in.

Yes, placing portals in the nether at the right coordinates will allow you to get into certain bases, under specific requirements: There needs to be enough space in the Overworld to be created and there needs to be no other portal in the area (or they will connect.) The tactic is rather easy to counter and honestly isn’t that big of a deal. I thought this was banned though? This way of raiding is neither harmful (besides a few missing blocks at the location of the newly created portal) or overpowered. It can be countered by creating a blocked off portal or simply making sure there’s no spot in your base that would allow a default size portal. (The tactic is rather underpowered to be honest. You also need the exact coordinates of the inside of the target’s base and then you need to go to the Nether world’s counterpart’s coordinates…divide the Overworld coordinates by eight?)
