Reason for Report (Exessive greifing)
{breaking rules, cheating, glitching, duping, xraying, exploiting, hacking (Using a hacked client), harassing, griefing}

To explain shortly, i have been inactive for a while because of traveling and due to me having a full time job with the Army. I came back home tired and glad to see that the Cities i’ve built and loved were intact… until they weren’t. As recently as yesterday 12/22/2020 3 of my great Cities of Verace, Pathere, and Vastere were demolished, by an insider and Hydra. The work of over a year has been deleted. In an instant i lost everything i have worked on, the greifing is exessive, uneccesary, and in many ways should be punishable. I realize that the people who did this are experienced and renown players of this server. However i am too, and even if i wasn’t the cities i have built have provided deckhands a place to live and be happy in. Therefore i humbly request that my cities be rolled back and restored. I am awfully too weak to do much except report and ask. So any kind of help i can get would be much appreciated.

I hope that whichever staff member that finds and reads this report I hope that you take the time to consider my request, for i am most likely not different than any of you and i bet if this were to happen to you it would destroy you… it destroyed me and my soul, all my hard work gone in a “bang!” literally, I can’t begin to explain the amount of despair i felt when i saw this. Overview Description of Report:
After nearly 4 months and lost evidence I have finally gathered enough support and evidence to make a report. What started out as racism and racist jokes in game has grown into Toxicity, disobeying staff, and general assholness. He thinks he can get away with it because he has before but it is time to stop. 3 months ago he made a racist joke in game and after I threatened to report him he sent me a racist joke against jews along with calling me a [out dated term].

Today he then starting calling people names and was generally toxic. When I told him to stop he replied how he “didn’t give a fuck” and said “what are you gonna do cry on me?”. When staff started to press him about it he then went on the defensive saying how “rivvur did much worse by ruining the economy” and how “u (talking bout me) are much worse than him because everyone hates u and thinks ur annoying” he then (in this last bit when staff reminded him that they had told him to stop) pointing out that what LEGO called his toxicity as “not bullshit” (actually responding “what bullshit?”)

Just to clarify, your members (IronAR) did have a /sethome right outside a roman city, and Baz gave him a warning for it. You can check this to know I’m not making this up. However, what YOU are making up is that we could have had a /sethome.

(Here is a detailed account of the events related to the grief):
Incase you didn’t know, we actually sailed to Isen from Vastere, on dhows. We took 5 dhows, with 2 people in each. You can verify this by asking Torkey, Rivvur, and Minister, who literally sped onto the dhows and killed us, while we were sailing (this was near Maxy’s port). Because, of this, we just had everyone stay at home, and someone sailed on a vanilla boat the rest of the way to Isen. We wanted to carry on with the role-play “invasion” of Isen, so we had the person in the boat land in our target destination (the bay near the area that was later griefed). We then all tped to the member who sailed the rest of the way to Isen, and brought cannons. After bombarding the shores, we went onto the land to observe the damage. (At this point, there were only a few holes in the land, as we used cannons). After going onto the land, we decided to have the legionnaires gather some dirt. We needed more dirt to fill up the holes outside our city, Vastere, that were made when Isen members EnderSold and IronAR attacked earlier that morning. Quite a decent amount of land outside Vastere was griefed by the aforementioned Isen members, so we decided to tell the legionnaires to gather as much dirt from your land as they thought necessary for repairing our land. What followed was about 8 roman members (some with god shovels) taking a LOT of dirt out of an area that was near an Isen building. I would like to say that we did not intend to do as much damage as we did, so I sincerely apologize. We should have had better control over our force of destruction. Clearer directions should have been given, so I am sorry about what took place.

Our previous money exploiters received permanent bans, and the one out of that group that duped in the least money – Rivvur – was only unbanned a few weeks ago.

I class items as money here, and you have been doing this duping a lot behind our back using a known exploit over a long time. Using the exploit you single-handedly managed to destroy the beacon eco while your shop was stocked and active dropping their price to what, $600-650? Wither skulls were also affected in a similar manner.

In the immediate aftermath I confiscated any remaining beacons that I could find. Your base was originally regened, but as you share it with jetty I let you two keep it. You’ve been banned now for 45 days, but duped in… well from what I could tell from recent numbers around 50… 60 perhaps more? That’s money that’s gone into claimblocks, items, etc, that you share with someone.

You knew not to do it, and as a veteran you should have known this twice as well given you saw how the money dupers were punished. You will therefore get the same punishment.

Denied.

Emiel didn’t actually warp to staff island with his goal being to attack you or your ship, he tp’ed to me while I was sitting on my tree at the island. Not sure if that comes under the same thing.

He then swims over to you sailing the ship, and sits on board for a while. Lego uses an elytra to fly over from cove to attack you (I believe), and rivver sends a tp request to emiel. Emiel accepts the request just as Lego arrives, and Rivvur beats Lego to the punch and kills you a fair distance from the warp. Someone else is then brought in to sail the ship elsewhere.

From what I heard in the call last night, you most likely would have died a few seconds later from Lego, and Emiel had the decency to wait while you were far away from the island.

I’ll have a word with staff to ensure that they aren’t using it to attack people, but in this case emiel didn’t in fact attack you – instead he sailed along with you given he was nearby and accepted a tp from Rivvur. If he would have directly attacked you it would be a different situation, but Gods and I are willing to let this one pass – we’ll ensure this doesn’t happen again in future to avoid unnecessary complications. I can assure you no staff is using the staff warp to raid or kill.

EDIT: staff members are free to kill regular players, they just need to ensure they stay out of drama. Admins and above play super passive for that reason, but mods can generally go out and kill people if they want, and helpers too.

Exploiting permissions and using Admin Island to stage an attack and TP in others.

Overview Description of Report

Emielreijs utilized his status as a member of staff, paired with his location at Admin island, to deceive and attack me on 25 Feb 2020.

Detailed Information

I was sailing near the admin floating islands when I saw Emiel’s name on the map. Shortly after he made his was over to my Manowar. I thought he was just riding along as I noticed on the map he was just at the island and I have always been on good terms with Emiel, and staff in general. Shortly there after as I was nearing my island and Emiel was riding with me, he TP’d in other individuals. Im not upset that I was killed, I’m not upset that the ship was taken. This is a pirate server and pirates we shall be. My issue is that Emiel lead an attack utilizing his position at the admin islands. This is especially dirty due to a conversation that I had with Emiel 2 days ago where I said that I would never attack any staff member (I was joking with Lazy about /siege). Emiel knew this and used this opportunity to exploit my proximity to his location and attack me.

Whether this is within the rules or not, what Emiel did was extremely misleading and dirty. I know that Rivvur and others will defend Emiel as he has always been a nice person; they will try to justify this by crew association and crew hostilities. However, the ends do not justify the means and this was outside of staff character.

Hey everyone, it’s been a little bit over a year since my ban. I’m going to try to keep this short and simple. Along with some others, I made a stupid mistake to spawn in money; and over the past year, I’ve really been able to reflect on my mistakes. As I have matured, I have realized the fault in judgment I made over a year ago. It was wrong and stupid what I did, and I regret it deeply. This year I’ve changed for the better and I believe I can be a positive impact on this community once again. I repaid every cent I received illegally before I was rightfully banned, and hopefully, you all will be able to see how much I’ve matured over this past year.

During my time playing, I made some huge mistakes. I neglected to realise how Piratecraft had changed my life up to this point. When I first logged on around five-ish years ago I was immediately met some amazing players, that I eventually ended up spending the better half of three years with. I have so many incredible memories but I foolishly decided to throw that all away when I abused the rank trusted to me.

On September 16, 2018, I was banned, almost a full year ago. It took some time for it to dawn on me how vital Piratecraft has been to me growing up. Over the years, I have literally grown up with this server and it’s inhabitants, and I’ve developed as a person so much because of them. Obviously, not enough to realise the huge mistake I was making. The friendships I’ve made because of Piratecraft have stuck with me and I’m lucky to have ever met them.

I do genuinely believe I’ve matured since my ban. I implore you, please consider my unban request. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

When I first logged on around 4 years ago, everyone on the server was so welcoming and helpful. Between fighting Crusaders of the Void with Solis, joining the Asylum, and then breaking away to help form the Coalition, Piratecraft has provided me with a whole arsenal of good memories with friends. Since the money incident and accepting my ban, I have had time to think over my actions and what damage I did to others in the process of my perusal of power. Contrary to my previous actions, I have matured, would like to apologize for my actions, and request an gracious un-banning.

When I received a deserving permaban on 16 September 2018, I lost a main hub of communication with many of my friends. I didn’t recognise how much PirateCraft meant to me before I was banned. I had this mindset of not caring about anything, and that led me to throw away over 3 years of friendships and fun. If I come back, I will be an outstanding member of the community again, like I once was before I took a wrong turn. While some of you might not believe me, over these 8 months I have reconsidered my attitude towards everyone, and matured as a person. In my local community, I took up community service work and that really brought a new perspective to my life on how I should treat others. I really didn’t take the whole “treat others as you want to be treated” thing seriously until recently. I believe I am ready to come back and provide a positive impact to the PirateCraft community.

TLDR: To everyone that has played PirateCraft and doesn’t know what I participated in, basically I was very immature and did some ridiculous stuff. I helped damage the economy by adding thousands in an illegal way and boosted my position in the progress. I was power hungry and would do anything to get it, and did not think about the repercussions that would follow. During my time off I have greatly matured to become a better person, and I hope maybe one day PirateCraft can see that side of me again.

When I first logged on around 4 years ago, everyone on the server was so welcoming and helpful. Between fighting Crusaders of the Void with Solis, joining the Asylum, and then breaking away to help form the Coalition, Piratecraft has provided me with a whole arsenal of good memories with friends. Since the money incident and accepting my ban, I have had time to think over my actions and what damage I did to others in the process of my perusal of power. Contrary to my previous actions, I have matured, would like to apologize for my actions, and request an gracious un-banning.

I didn’t recognise how much PirateCraft meant to me before I was banned. I had this mindset of not caring about anything, and that led me to throw away over 3 years of friendships and fun. If I come back, I will be an outstanding member of the community again, like I once was before I took a wrong turn. While some of you might not believe me, over these 8 months I have reconsidered my attitude towards everyone, and matured as a person. In my local community, I took up community service work and that really brought a new perspective to my life on how I should treat others. I really didn’t take the whole “treat others as you want to be treated” thing seriously until recently. I believe I am ready to come back and provide a positive impact to the PirateCraft community.

I helped damage the economy by adding thousands in an illegal way and boosted my position in the progress. I was power hungry and would do anything to get it, and did not think about the repercussions that would follow. During my time off I have greatly matured to become a better person, and I hope maybe one day PirateCraft can see that side of me again.
