This forum is dedicated to spawn ideas and improvements.
Spawn Flags/Rules
- PVP is off
- Mob spawning is off
- Buttons and Levers are on for everyone
- Building in spawn is restricted to staff
- Messages are set for Entering and leaving spawn claim area
- Spawn theme is Shipwreck with temporary living in tents and caves in the surrounding area
- Ship cage Jail

Topic: Cove Location
We built the previous cove over the End Portal location, Which just happened to be in a nice cove island, There are hundreds of amazing coves around piratecraft, we need a home location!
I have enabled all users of the website to create their own groups on PirateCraft.com, Each new group gets its own forum, if selected.
Groups can be set to Public, Private or Hidden, Admins of groups can select if they want other users to be able to invite others.
Moderators can be set for these groups/forums, Groups do not have to be connected to a forum.
Why would I want a group?
To organize members, Ideas, Builds and Events for your own Group of Pirates/Location/City.
I have created a group for The Cove as a demonstration, this will be the home for all cove ideas and chat, Forums can be accessed from the group page, But they are also listed automatically as sub-forums in the Public Group Talk Forums.To create a group, Navigate (Once logged in) to the top right of PirateCraft where your username is listed, Hover over “Groups” then select “Create a Group“.

Hello. kiritorn here. I was a part of your old piratecraft maps. I donated to get the matey package so that ti could save my loot before the map changed however the server was shut down instead. Im inquiring to be whitelisted and get my stuff back.

We could have an arena per city, as for world layout, I slapped this together using https://moqups.com, should have used PS the website was annoying.
So central location separate from spawn for a “cove” thats got shops etc, with a train station and paths to each of the cities, each city has a theme with its own color, Its own Icon (can be set via Dynmap) Its own 1 arena, etc etc.
Im stuck on an intro for the Bible people spawn with, You are very restricted to size, 18 characters per line and each page is 12 lines long, this is the first page I wrote today so far:

Yeah, using simple teamwork and giving people jobs would be the best thing, Thats one thing thats missing from GP, Clans/Faction/Grouping of people.
But thats a little OTT for PirateCraft anything like that, if theres a super lightweight clans plugin it might be an option to give users a way to organise and leave messages for each other on a BB system, But we have this forum, People can create GRoups using the website to get organised and keep it private between only members.
Ok I setup a live chat channel for live communication, Its powered by IRC which means there are desktop clients or you can use the Web UI.
You can get to chat Here http://piratemc.com/chat/ or from the Follow Us > Chat menu on the top of the website.
We are on the freenode chat network (irc.freenode.net) and our channel is ##piratecraft if you want to setup a desktop client to chat (I have its open on my second monitor while I work on the server)
I might setup a Voice server aswell, but that will need people to install an app and setup mic’s etc, which would be much faster to communicate in-game to test everything.
I was preparing a method for transferring items, and PirateCraft just got suspended, Paused if you will, I think the transfer has started.. But I haven’t been told anything..
I have heard you all and im now taking action, Ive sent the request to be moved to an EU server, At some point our current IP will cease to work, I will update mc.piratemc.com when I get the new server IP.
World, Plugins and settings updated.
When we next come online expect a fresh new world with limited plugins, neither I or my hosting provider can figure out this lagg, so im going to build the server up again from scratch using 1.7, We will need to find a way to stress test the server to make sure it can keep up fully slotted before advertising.
When I get everything together I will need help testing out plugins/commands/flying around the new world to make sure its the one for us.
I will be setting up a voice/chat server to try and make communication quicker during this period (Not yet researched).
