Updated ranks to PirateCraft V2 List, Still Need to update the ranks page.
- Deckhand
- Sailor – Ships
- Carpenter
- Gunner – Canons
- Boatswain
- Lieutenant – Donator, Inherits Sailor and Carpenter
- Commander – Donator, Inherits Gunner and Boatswain
- Captain – Donator, Inherits all previous ranks
- Commodore – Mod
- ViceAdmiral – Admin
- Admiral – Owner (GodsDead)
We could have multiple versions of builder classes that will be auto promoted to for earning achievements, for example travailing 1000block via boat gets you to Sailor.
Please add ideas and discuss.

– Deck SwabberThis is my suggestion. I’m not sure if you can include a kill count into the ranking system? so you can advance from sailor to gunner after you have killed so many mobs?.

June 1, 2013 at 1:43 pm #415Deck hand would make more sense :). Achievement wise there should be more to do as you “level up”, so as well as traveling say 10,000 km of sea to get from Deck Hand to sailor, you also have to kill say 20 mobs. I know this will probably make server side complex but i think it will make the ranking system, more of an Achievement, sense of purpose and excitement.
June 2, 2013 at 2:33 pm #417Deck hand has been implemented as the default user now, the next upgrade is sailor, which gets you 2 homes to set, and warping to the cove.

top rank gets you the option to create a warp?
is there anyway of being able to see if someones been on your land like a security thing? a high rank allows you to see whos been on your land?June 7, 2013 at 11:16 pm #425There all able to be implemented I think, apart from seeing who’s been on your land, that’s not possible. Might be able to do it with a command block?

June 11, 2013 at 1:02 pm #434I think that should be enough, unless you can get a leveling style involved, ie reach to say level 50 and you get a sword? you can’t get too many perks straight off.

Todo:- Update the Web UI & Figure out how to pull data near live without putting strain on the minecraft server.
- Refresh all ranks & perms (Create a ton of new ranks to auto upgrade to), inc Creating a basic moderator rank for Jon.
- Figure out triggers for each rank, i.e game time. Its a super complex setup, So i am awaiting a response from the developer to clear up the code structure.
- Implement a web UI for achieved ranks/achievements & what to do for the next rank
- Auto Give out achivements based on stats, There is mcMMO, but it might be too much
August 19, 2013 at 5:35 am #536I think you should allow people to tp to each other after like 3-4 days of total hours played.
that way some good players who interact allot and trust other ones can tp to each other to help.
and maybe a good enchanted sword when you hit the 800 mob kills? it would be a great achievement
since these mobs are harder to kill than most the mobs the players got used to.for example the skeletons on this server are shooting like the are holding ak24’s instead of bows. so hitting the 800 kills mark would be a great achievement.And incase it wouldn’t make much difference… alot of people have been asking for factions pluggin because the claimblocks is too com confusing for them. -
