Crazy most of your points are poorly reasoned.
As many people have suggested, the rank requirements can easily be changed to accommodate the fact XP bottling has been removed.
Having a large xp farm is an advantage regardless of the bottling function. Removing bottling will reduce the advantage of having a big farm to bottle because no matter how efficient your farm you can’t bottle it.
Initially there will be a disadvantage to those without a villager farm, but the incredibly high emerald price for even the cheapest XP bottle trade (between 3-11 emeralds a bottle) will deter even the richest players being careless with XP bottles.
Removing bottling is intended to move PVP away from the hour long mending fights that it created.
And as for monopolising XP farms, we have just had a huge world border increase. I have seen plenty of people finding fresh double triple and even quad overworld spawners to rival any of the established, and more finite, guardian or blaze farms held by experienced players.

September 2, 2016 at 12:41 am #40159Yup, The ranks will get a re-do anyway! Xp could be dropped if this is an issue, if its for Donators to farm rank upgrades when they expire then I remove that ability, one time gifts!
Hell, even without XP bottles in OP PVP fights, they still go on forever, I was board after 15 min fight and gave up, Mojang can do one.
September 2, 2016 at 12:42 am #40160I really can’t say anything thats already been said, xp costs will skyrocket so only op players will have it, and it wont make ranking up harder, it will make it nearly impossible, its like a nearly impossible game with 1 life and no checkpoints, if you give them checkpoints it at least makes it playable, it is hard enough as is to rank up, I and probably a bunch of other people had to take out loans for my xp because it was not possible for me to acquire the amount it requires to rank up, it is like a mortgage, so overall imo keep it, but disagree if you’d like.

READ THE PREVIOUS DAMN REPLIES! Jeeeeeeeesssuuuuusssssssssssssssss
Literally wrote in the comment previous “XP would be dropped in ranks and removed from donators being able to re-rank over and over”
September 2, 2016 at 12:52 am #40164People need to be more open minded, with the possible introduction of XP boosts, it would be easier for people to make a second god set instead of relying on XP bottles to mend.
Potentially, XP bottles could be made a voting reward. Players can help themselves and the server!
I also think that lots of people are voting to keep to bottling because it just makes things harder. This is a PVP and PVE server, surviving should be part of the fun! To quote Cysteen in our recent convo: “As a Captain with /back, there is nothing stopping me bottling my XP, and jumping off a bridge!”

I got from lvl 1 to 80 on my own using a single zombie spawner. not impossible. difficult and annoying yes. impossible? (besides, if anyone read any of godsy’s replies, youd see he said he was considering changing the exp requirement for ranking) not at all. wanna know something? in vanilla, there is no /bottle. wanted to enchant? had to get exp like normal. getting rid of /bottle will dramatically change gameplay, making it more challenging. I think the challenge would be fun. you all want the game to be too easy; not everything can be handed to you on a silver platter.

September 2, 2016 at 1:34 am #40170I will say everyone did make good points really, the ones that I see as and agree with Gods on the change is the donators not having the ability to use exp to keep capping gifts, and like what Cysteen said yes they would cost more but then the stock of them will go down as some players will use them recklessly or just use up large stocks. Me personally I use mob grinders to repair my armor since I get resources and exp at same time and don’t bottle it xD. Those who usually have to carry 1 or more stacks of exp will have to think twice in do I want to lose them or use up my supply for nothing? I like the idea of people not just lasting more than maybe and roughly a 30min fight because they can repair armor in a fight with exp bottles, to me kills much of the have to hurry and finish this aspect of fighting. I could see why people would want it to stay and get rid of it but like Gods and others said just alter the exp given to certain ranks, make the exp requirements lower for ranking, if we use a exp multiplier for when players are logged on again give ranks certain amounts, kill the donators from being able to cap rank gifts, and lastly let player charge more for exp because yes the rich will get richer but supplies will go down and will even out but atleast then people will have to think twice. 😛
September 2, 2016 at 2:23 am #40172September 2, 2016 at 2:35 am #40174So i have a question on this. You put “<span style=”color: #555555; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.4px; background-color: #fbfbfb;”>I want to implement a XP multiplier plugin, so for events, or weekends or donations everyone online gets a multiplier of XP, say 1.5x XP for X amount of time” </span>
On the part of Donations you would receive a perk as a donator? all the time or a 1 time?

September 2, 2016 at 2:36 am #40176Now with all due respect gods,
I see you have pretty much already made your mind up about what’s going to happen. If so, then why have a poll? I mean it’s only giving us false hope in the end.
Currently the voting is in favour of keeping them, but I think that’s just a number meaning almost nothing?Like I said, with all due respect.
Let the negative comments begin.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi
September 2, 2016 at 3:55 am #40183ok, so, I’d like to throw my 2 cents in. so, I voted no, and simply for this reason (and no this is not a repeat of previous posts) – for me, before I go and do something that I think will get me killed (e.g. warp event, or explore, go to market, etc., etc., etc.) I like to stash away anything I don’t want to lose – good weapons, armor, etc. unless there is a real purpose to having it. I do the same with my xp – quickly dump it in a bottle and go about my business, never having anything with me I’m not worried about losing. Because when I do need it (xp), I hate to have just lost a ton because I got caught out in a skelly rider party, or a warp event with a giant soulless pirate, (or fall in lava like a doofus) 🙂 . This is especially annoying if I need it later to enchant a weapon or sword, or repair it, or some other such thing.
Its just a good and handy way to tuck it away for a rainy day. That’s it. Thanks for listening.

You can grind for hours and get mabey 100lvs, so you have earned that xp. When you bottle it, you preserve your work for mabey ; enchanting, mending , renaming, PvP or ranking up.
It’s not for the lazy, it’s for the clever. The clever work all day for xo then save it. If you die with 70 lvs you loose it all. If you die with 2 stacks of bottles (to a natural cause) u can get them back.
Just my opinion.
