Hey since everyone is choosing to criticize Keto for this post, let me shed some light here as him posting it was to test something. I wrote the post on behalf of the crew and Keto posted it so all of you didn’t start screaming moderator abuse (or some other crap) in this thread, but you know what I don’t care cause it looks like all of BE members are making weak comments anyways. So I’m going to respond to everyone.

Kirn: Really k, k is the best you could come up with. One of the most uneducated responses when you have been called out and feel like a decent response isn’t worth your time. Dude get out. You sit in a box in the sky or in a little castle with some ships and occasionally PVP, then you make big talk when people talk bad about BE. Dude no one cares, you’re just in that crew to look important.

Crazy: Helping a noob town? Sure maybe you made friends with someone and said that if they pay you taxes you’ll continue. But we know how BE works and we’ve seen the way you treat other crews. Just wait, if we see you people belittle a crew into being a colony of BE. You will be met with pain from our crew. You guys are nothing but near spammers and loggers. It’s a fun challenge to catch you guys when you don’t see us coming.

Monks: I won’t insult you, you guys can actually fight. We aren’t weak and but you aren’t either. I’m glad to see you’re not actually in BE anymore and I hope you’ll cut ties with them entirely, as all you were to them was an insurance policy that they could hold up in a fight.

Agent: TheAgentGamer, the only oppression that we force on another crew is BE. Because we are indeed at war with them, and we want to see nothing more than to see London burn and BE disbanded. The only BE members we like are Lazy as she is actually a nice player who only is there to help people, and Jolem who is my friend and sticks to himself. Most of the BE leadership are power hungry mongrels. We will try not to attack your crew as much, but we only kill randoms because that’s what the pirate raids are all about. We get kills and win sieges to raise our KDRs and gather supplies. We don’t want to be seen as angels, we want to be seen as a real pirate crew. It’s not about morals, its about them being a dictatorship that bullys other crews to their will. When we kill a newbie, we have a reason (horrible attitudes, trash-talking). When BE kills newbies, it’s to force them into submission. As for proof, we have proof of the Taulov stuff and unnamed sources for the colonization + taxes information. But as seen in this thread, they have confirmed they are starting their colonization plan (proof of that enough).

M4RT3S: No it’s not a joke, we wish to see BE burn and show what they are truly becoming. We are a group of raiders, a group of pirates, what we aren’t is a oppressive government of egocentric players with a big town of tutorial builds. Yeah, we are offering help against those who may be threatened to pay freaking taxes to another crew. That doesn’t need to be a thing and if you haven’t noticed it didn’t last for the actual Great Britain in the American Revolution. Taxation is not supported by Pirates. I respect Apple more than BE, but if you are going to start defending them, know your facts and actually write a post rather than just trying to trash talk our crew and TAS.

Snap: I have a lot of respect for you. If you would have stayed in the election and won, I know you would have made the crew a respectable place again. As I said in agent’s post I will try to work on that within my own crew, but we mainly attack nooby crews for poor attitudes in chat or trash-talking. #BlameTaulov is in reference to Kau’s base. For those who don’t know, Kauhy (a super kind a peaceful guy) who trusted a lot of his friends to his base had all of his items stolen, then his base blown up. Now after speaking to each friend, he figured out who did it. Taulov and BE raided and detonated his entire base because Kauhy was joining Jmoo’s crew and the CLTN for fun. Apparently before even talking to Kau, Taulov took it into his own hands to steal everything his former friend had worked for. Now after talking Taulov realized what he did was a little wrong and returned a bit if Kau’s items. But proceeded to lie and say that the rest of the items blew up. Which we all know is not true at all. Kau got the main portion of the griefed base itself backdated so that he didn’t just have a hole in the middle of his claim, but none of his godsets or op items. So the campaign started. Taulov has pushed us to deeper measures against his crew, which includes some fun treats. Anyway’s back to your post Snap. You totally called that they’d call you disloyal (BenTheBruce), and that’s just because you have backed up the cowardly attacks that they do on kind people. I thank you for your support on that. As for Taulov closing your post on their forums, that’s hilarious, he’s honestly just trying to look big. What’s really funny about Taulov is how much of a copycat he is too, his base south of Lazy’s town is a a copy of the Hydra base, complete with pipe exits and the triangular structure right next to it. Taulov has done nothing more than make himself look bad to the server and shine an even worse light on BE.

Benthebruce (2 posts, ooo big lad): I think I’ve already addressed those first three sentences of your post. But yeah, we have been trying to start the official war and you guys are too scared to accept it, which is really funny. As for Agent’s post I already talked about all that too. So feel free to read. You probably couldn’t have said anything better yourself because you do nothing more than hide in your little box of a base all day. So go ahead write a post with your own thoughts if you have any. Don’t even talk down to Snap, he’s more of a respectful BE member than you will ever be. Did you really just accuse him of “abusing your trust in him” I hope he has more to expose honestly. Cause it sounds like you’re trying to hide some stuff now. I encourage him to share whatever he can about your little colonization plan. The entire capaign of #BlameTaulov is indeed to insite war. But the campaign started because of the actions of BE. Acknowledge that.

No not everything was returned, looks like you’re being lied to by your own member also. So that’s pretty funny. Have fun talking to Taulov because he kept christmas advent items, god sets, and plenty of other resources.

Flea: Yeah you’re good at PVP. BE isn’t strong just because you are in their group, but I’m glad you enjoy being used as their protector.

Palmerageddon: This is a discussion and I think it should stay open cause I want them to either end or go back to the old kind BE.

Well hopefully the thing with Taulov got settled. Now i wasnt really following what was going on with the colonisation etc. due to irl issues but the original plan was to protect our colonies, attack their enemies and help with building. The price i suggested was 1 gold bar per week, which is if you ask me a pretty good deal for all of that. As i said before i’ve been off because of irl stuff so i dont really know what is the actual price now etc.. I think the entire thing can be talked out without killing nooblets in the process and if necessary change things a bit. Lets avoid getting into wars because of personal issues.

Also net i think a little bit of humor doesnt hurt, even tho u might not find it funny as it is a bit out of context but alright.

So people can see evidence I’ll just post this, idc if people hate me for it or whatever, but I kinda maybe applaud BE as it makes the server perhaps that bit more realistic, but I do also see the real good reasons to crticsize it.

I personally am in favor of this, on the basis that it furthers the BE’s efforts to rid the world of pirates. Anyone who pays our reasonable taxes will have nothing to fear from us, and will be protected against pirates. This seems more in keeping with the BE’s peaceful nature, as opposed to the current NAP system in which the BE can prey on those weaker than itself. In order to facilitate this, I would like to propose adding any crew who is a colony of the BE to our ingame ally list. This makes it easy for BE members to check if anyone is a colony or enemy and it makes it easy for our colonies to ask for assistance.

As some others have already said, I reckon we should start small by only taking on a set number of colonies (say, 5 for example.) Once they are well established we will be able to test whether we have the resources to defend them and iron out any major problems that arise, and then go on to further colonisation reassured that the system works.

I also believe that all those we attempt to colonise should be offered the opportunity to voulantarily become colonies. As for what happens if they refuse, I imagine it would involve BE troops marching in and attacking. Would anyone have any further ideas for this? I think it would be a good idea to limit the number of times we can attack a small crew per day/week. This would serve to prevent harrasment.

It is my opinion that all organised attacks should be written up as a basic report as well. Nothing fancy, just some standard form detailing who was attacked, notable loot gained, etc – this would enable the government to monitor what BE troops are doing which would be useful to know. I can also see this getting annoying however, so any opinions or suggestions are especially welcome on this point.

Oh, and I’ve also changed my mind on the suggestion I had to add the colonies to our /a chat. Hemp made some well reasoned points on the matter and I agree that to have our /a crowded with colonies would essentially make it meaningless.

Individuals or crews (settlements) can be assigned the status of colony. Colonies of the British Empire will be entitled to military assistance and encouraged to grow in return for paying a tax, which will take the form of monthly payments of gold. The amount of gold will be decided individually for each case and will be subject to change as the situation changes. Colonies will still be able to keep their own identity however will be known as a colony of the British Empire and will be subject to our laws.

A crew or individual may become a colony voulantarily or by condition of a peace agreement – so a crew or individual we are in conflict with may be able to end this conflict by becoming a British colony. Bullying crews into becoming a colony will not be acceptable practice for members of the British Empire.

Should a colony refuse to pay taxes without beforehand negotiating the termination of their colony status then the Royal Navy will be tasked with quelling the rebellion.

I have changed the original proposal’s phrasing slightly, as I do not believe it would be advantageous for us to become the new bad guys of the server. We can still create colonies with force by converting crews via the peace agreement option however I’d like to avoid us coming across as bullies hence the sentence prohibiting bullying. I’ll leave this a day or two before adding the link to vote at so that anyone who wants to suggest a change to the current proposal may do so.

I get it, everyone’s clearly pissed with Tal. Fantastic, aren’t you all the good samaritans this server needs. Where was all this outcry when hundreds of other bases are daily looted by those who have trust in them? Non existent, because its not convenient for you. You want to fight a war with the BE, just come out and say it.

You don’t like that we’ll be here when you’re gone; that our builds will still be here, our crew and flag will still be here. That’s cool, and if I was an outsider, I wouldn’t like that too. At least have the balls to admit that your issue with us, rather than scraping around on your knees for some dirt to use a pretence for war. Tal’s just a scapegoat for your warmongering.
