you need to verify your crew first, then be a leader of your crew to be able to set a rank. also, wtf is up with the weird formatting?

so, an example of a rank in my crew would be /crew setrank Cysteen &d&lInsomniac

you used format like that? the &d&l makes it pink, then bold. check /info colors for more color codes. the modifiers aren’t exactly necessary, but makes it much more colorful and fun. (if you wanna see colorful, /crew members TAS for a few shiggles)

I helped him in game, and i couldn’t figure out what was happening. the only issue i could think of would be his actual in game rank. possibly because he is a cadet that he cant change his crew ranks? idk. it’s the only theory i came to, since i gave him multiple commands to try, and nothing worked. as a work around, he could join another crew, have a leader of  that crew set his rank, then let him leave (or get kicked) so he can start another crew again. downside is he will have to re-verify, unless he has another crewmate be a leader to let him back in. this is just a small work around. orrrr have a higher rank player set his rank instead? just a couple ideas.

Cysteen got it, Setrank is done at Sailor, as well as home-set and starting a war.

In the future, actually writing the error would tell you what the issue is, for example a permission error means you need to have the right permission to use it.
