    Yes it stays at the point you set, which is a wicked idea to auto fire things! It would only fire once though, or activate some redstone, which could activate a bridge or gate to access another area! ;p because items take 5 mins to despawn, unless there was a way to make it activate a clock, but then it would have to reset itself.

    the idea, is a hopper at one side to load arrows. then another two hoppers on the other side that pass an item back and forth with a comparator to send a signal to the dispenser to make it fire.

    then for a random item (arrow or potion) to spawn on the loader hopper and then be fire straight away through a lava flow, this sets the item on fire to do more damage.

     

    also not it also sets poison splash potions on fire, which cause both fire and poison effect.

    We need an area that includes ships, cannons, bridges and portcullis.

    ive already got an idea for bridges and portcullis.

    i can possibly add cannons as well. 9just have to get creative in placement and were ammo will be stored.

     

    but i think ships would be a little hard, how would they go back to were they started at the end of a match.

    I still have this massive arena ready to be rebuilt into the server. Anyone interested in building it should let me know, I’ll send you the save file!
    The square it was supposed to be built upon in the future has already been constructed in my city Oldenburgh (if anyone wants to build it there, I’d like to help!). If you don’t want it to be built there, make sure you flatten a large amount of terrain for it!

    It’s a mix of indoor fighting (imagine rooms and corridors, all highly detailed) and combat in the center courtyard (which features the bow of a ship surrounded by a little maze, ideal sniping spot right there!).
    I personally love it a lot…

    Thanks 😀 I think it could support many types of organised PvP because of its size. You could have some kind of CTF, King of the…Ship, FFA, 2 or 4 teams. Do you see that row of windows just above the entrance on the inner circle in the first picture? We could make spectators stand there 😉

    right if the ffa plugin ever returns, i built a Skirmish arena YAY.

     

    location 3844,1528

     

    this area is a small 1v1 arena. as its skirmish you bring your own stuff, the winner keeps all the loser gets nothing.

    and for an added twist. the waiting room is designed so that the crowd can see the two fighters prematch, but they cant see each other. will your opponent be in leather or diamond, you dont know till its too late.

     

    this makes 1v1 fights easier, uniteruptable, and still have a fair nasty price if you lose.

    i was thinking of making an arena in a dungeon style environment with corridors and dark spots. So it would be like a pvp \ pve arena still a lot to work out but thought id throw that in there .

    just got to ask.

    if the coding for the new arena and spleef sytem when they arrive is the same as the old one, do ya think its possible to build an arena dirrectly over a spleef arena.

    if so i built both a skirmish arena (see previous post) and a new spleef arena.

     

    the design for the spleef arena is simple. 11*11 stage. 3 floors all in contact with each other, so if you get the wool knock from under you, then you can jump back up  easily. once through them you fall 2 blocks to the final floor. if you fall through this single layer, your dead dude.

     

    location is the same building as the skirmish arena, just go down the stairs.

    The developer will not acknowledge the poor performance of his plugin, which is a shame, I will test it again, but he hasnt changed anything since I disabled it, I do think that this is just too much for the server to handle, Maybe we should have a seperate Mini-games server?

    A minigames server would be awesome! It would make it a lot easier to have loads of different gametypes that wouldn’t work on the normal server!
