ok, i have been thinking of making a trade area similar to aeo’s, my idea is simple and not complicated, make a place where people can set up free shops for all to come and buy/sell, if you would like to agree/disagree/or comment please do so, if this gets mainly positive, i will make and promote it

and yes, i will mostly be there to TP people if it gets popular within the server

I think /warp shops is enough for now. Having another shop place will only make shops harder to find and not have too much of a point.

Not really…

Godsy just created that neato shop page that tells you the location, items, and prices of shops all over the map. This actually makes trade more convenient and promotes these player shops. Why bother going to warp shop to purchase an item if there is a player sign shop not too far that sells the same item for cheaper. Sure you may have to walk a bit, but this is survival minecraft. All in all, the cheaper item should be worth it.

So I respectfully disagree with you Iridus, and I believe bcb should follow his dreams 😉

besides, people rely on teleporting too damn much anyways. whats wrong with a little adventure/journey to a shopping area? try horseback. or ya know….. ships! it’s kinda fun to ride over on horseback to different places. like London. I ride over every so often to look around. no harm in going a little out of ones way for a shop, or even just to derp around. scared to lose the stuff you bought? enderchests! (or tp out immediately and bank it all) because we all know that’s where people keep stuff they refuse to lose to other players anyways.

ok, i have conducted this project but i do need quite a bit of help,

1. i need tons of sand to be terraformed

2. i need donations of money for claimblocks

3. i need help with advertisement of its first week or so

if anyone can help, you will recieve

2 plots, free range of shipbuilding supplies at the public dockyard, and if you wish, your own shipyard on the island

Ok, the place has been claimed and the rules have been set, you must build your shop but whatever style you choose is free reign, to cysteen, she will receive what was written above, if anyone wants a plot, mail me and I’ll get to you as quick as i can, but those who are at war or warmongers (goldieh like), your mail will be discarded due to the safety of others,

I have a chest (approx) of sand I can donate.

I’m really excited to see new shop areas like this made possible by the new website plugin. I’ve spent the past couple days sailing all around the server to buy supplies from the cheapest shops, and sell them to the most expensive. It’s a new opportunity that feels like merchanting on an MMO. Accessible player shops like this might be just the thing the server needs for a strong trade economy.

Yo ok so i’m totally in support with this idea i think it would be fun to have that since the shops at /warp market cost a lot of money, i’m poor af so i can’t really donate anything but I would be down to help build some of the shops. Only question where will it be located?

Idk how to get those thingy’s that show up with every post so i just put this five spaces below it…

i have a little town made with some small plots, we currently have 15-20 open, but what i plan for is that the people who come may build there shops or have someone make them.
