My suggestion is this for replacing/altering the carpenter, gunner, and boatswain xp requirement:
- Carpenter: Place about 500 or so blocks of wooden planks and 500 or so log blocks (Already have the appropriate break 700 logs requirement), craft, and maybe collect 2500 xp total.
- Gunner: Kill about 250 Creepers, shear about 100 sheep, mine 300 iron ore, fire 350 arrows, and maybe collect 50 xp levels.
- Boatswain: Place about 500 blocks of wool, place 1000 blocks of wooden planks, travel 50,000 blocks by boat, and maybe 60 xp levels.
- Remember, this is only to replace/alter the xp requirement, not the whole thing.

@azure @godsdead here evidence that dorkito is harassing me. As I told before I just log in and he started killing me. He dint stop until
3kaj came to the rescue (talk about twist).
i would also like to point out of the defenless glicht i think i got it when i died the tped back home. i thought dorkito had it and that he could not kill me until 3kaj killd him . so i think thats how you get the glicht die and then tp out of your spawn point.

I would like to discuss the possibility of altering (Such as lowering the amount needed) or replacing the exp requirement for something else to rank up for Carpenter, Gunner, and Boatswain rank. I believe that the ranking system is superb except for maybe the exp requirement because many people find it hard to get a sufficient amount of exp to rank up, or keep it long enough to accumulate to the set amount. If you could look into this idea, I would be extremely grateful for your insight. Thank you for your time.

@godsdead when you type /manoverboard and you tp to the top with a block next to your tp you start moving none stop on the same block. markusi had to tp me out and i lost my crago ship (have no idia where it is).

ad 1.
There are auction plugins which include toggle to disable any auction chat messages. This toggle is unavaliable when someone auctions things at public chat or using /me
ad 2.
As long as people can teleport, items can as well so auction plugin wouldnt really change that much, it would only prevent dorkito, crabriel or king_cobra_c from killing people at cove and getting goodies being traded.

Seriously, get some screenshots and load them asap; getting the mods involve doesn’t help if you are unwilling to provide proof, so please even just a screenshot of the moat they blasted; help us help you man!

I am sorry for my rash and very inappropriate choice of words, @kickbuttpotato. I had been in a foul mood that day, but looking back, I deeply sympathize with you. I myself have been spawn killed repeatedly on three occasions (One by Unic0rnjunk101, one by Reptaria, and one by thijis). It is a sad fact that some people find it enjoyable to harass people by staying in their base and killing them. I agree with the idea of suspending /tpa during siege, because I hate it when griefers get in your base, and then tp all their friends to them and spawn kill. On one occasion, I eventually killed the aggressor with a combination of a quick /kit tools and persistent punching, and got my stuff back. But that is not the point here. People should not be allowed to spawn kill. Period. It is dishonorable and brings a bad reputation to the community and server. I would greatly appreciate to have @GodsDead opinion on the issue.

He presents a reliable case. The picking up of an item does engage PvP mode, this is true. Keep in mind this is to prevent players keeping spawn protection ONCE THEY’VE ACQUIRED ITEMS BY THEIR OWN MEANS.
And now, here we have several people ABUSING this for merely personal gain, and to boost their massive egos. They are abusing the role of this plugin and turning it against people, using it to bully by preying on the weak. If this is not exploiting or bullying I don’t know what is.
It’s one thing to hunt a person and to kill them, but I don’t see the sense in systematic killing, especially when it’s through a loophole.
Absolutely disgusting. 🙁

I know for a fact that thy are driving business away from towns such as /warp skyshop and /warp trade. @Godsdead Surely this puts off players buying warps, and gives these existing warps, which people have worked hard to build, a bad reputation and collapsing economy? Perhaps its time to re-open the poll on player claims that are PVP free and Siege free.

Can we test this again on more existing claims? I only tested it on normal claims, and it worked fine.
Tested it again. Created a new subclaim. Put the RealEstate sign, got Azuries to rent the subclaim. – I got the money – Azuries had the money removed – The claim was attributed to “someone” and not to Azuries.
This seems to be an issue with subclaims, normal claims seem to work, I will inform the developer.

@GodsDead isn’t repeated greifing of the same player/build over a course of days considered harassment? From what I’ve seen it’s like those two do absolutely nothing but kill others and it’s usually repeated kills of the same person, spawn kills at the shops, etc. I know no pvp at shops is a player rule, but repeatedly harassing the same players over and over is definitely against the rules is it not?
Dr. Solid can you get some screenshots of this behavior to show as proof? Perhaps over the course of several attacks so Gods can confirmm they are, in fact, harassing you?

Can you be more specific on “PVP tag yourself”
I was playing Markus’ favourite game of firing an arrow upwards and catching it. I then tried to /warp trade and saw the “You cannot use that command in PvP combat” message, so I got another arrow, fired it and hit myself with it again. I the logged off and back on, to see that I had died (I was on full health and hadn’t died before disconnecting)…
hahaha so it PVP tags you if you attack yourself, fantastic. I can’t think of a situation where this would be an issue, Not worth the time to find a fix in my opinion.
Yourself as a new player on the other hand I will have to look into, Essentials data converted during this conversion process, Ill have to see what it did with your data, if you read up youll notice that you were one of about 6 people whos griefprevention data didnt move over.

I’ll leave this up to your discretion, as like with all things it could be abused.
I think we should put out a list of things that are considered cheating or glitching. I know I recently found out about something with crates I didn’t realize was considered glitching (and thus against the rules!) so I think a list of things that are officially against the rules would be a helpful addon to this forum or the rules page?
This doesn’t extend to a majority of the glitchers; but I think there might be others who are doing somethings, not realizing they could get in trouble for them. For instance crates are not available on other servers, and I think a lot of people are unsure of the incorrect uses of them, what is a built in purpose and what is considered glitching.
If you are ok with an open to public list of glitching no-nos (as vague as possible so people wont be able to recreate the glitch) then I think between us we can put together a list, get some clear and defined boundaries and rules about them set down!
