Did the firework projectile get removed from cannons? A few people were saying they got taken out but we need something that penetrates those ugly stone boxes people like to build…otherwise there’s no way to attack such awful structures.
No. https://piratemc.com/topic/changelog-fixed-map-rendering/
Diamonds also penetrate.
If you want another penetrating projectile, then suggest it.
May 8, 2017 at 10:06 am #49742Topic: Piratecraft Map Infographic
in forum PirateCraft GeneralHello, one year after my original map post I tried to update and enrich it. Considering how heavy and difficult to manage my Photoshop file was (7 Gb), I moved on a lighter, simpler version made with Adobe Illustrator that looks more like an infographic. There are both present maps and historical reconstructions that I believe could be interesting to see. For example, I noticed only now that the Juice Pirates and The Asylum have been fighting for almost a year and it is the longest war ever in Piratecraft! You can also see how some crews have changed on the map over time.
While not perfect, I hope this work is as close as possible to what Piratecraft looks and looked like.
Some crews are still missing and I am afraid there may be misspellings like Xanthian Empire instead of Order.I wanted to create a map of the beginning of Piratecraft V2 too, but sadly I have never found out where Nassau, Tortuga and New Providence were located. It would be interesting to know if anybody has information about them.
Here are the maps:
This last image is a concept of a site page that I believe would be a giant encouragement for people to fill the wiki with information about their settlements. You could just open the map, click on town icons and read about them or instead add missing info. The wiki would have more traffic in general.
This is a zoom for the town list map.
Thank you for your attention.

emielreijs
Hello emielreijs
Give me a date to go back to and then I can add on your time you have played since then 🙂
I, like emiel, have had some of my playtime deleted. I can’t remember the exact date but perhaps the 15th of March? Sounds about right (I seem to remember my stats being reset after a restart) ?
In game name? Also 15th of march for me to find when it was ok? and then add on what you played since then?
I feel as though this always happens at a restart, we need to kick everyone before the server stops.
May 1, 2017 at 11:46 am #49609In reply to: [changelog] NEW SPAWN! Spawnkit and Bible updates
Sorry if this has posted yet again – post disappears constantly. It doesn’t like me posting a link.
Very cool new spawn! Quick question Max: Did you get inspiration from the flying dutchman?
No, I did it free hand. The Flying Dutchman is a much slimmer and taller ship, quite a different design and layout. This one is much wider, has an additional gun deck submerged beneath the water, and has a completely different gallery. Its completely made up.
I don’t know if this is intended or not, but I figured I should make sure you know about it:
Doors can not be opened at spawn. I’ve tried it at /warp info and you can’t get inside or outside from there;
Levers can’t be used, so the spawn border gate is not openable.
Hope it helps!That’s because people kept opening and closing all of the trapdoors that were intended for decoration. I will open the doors for you, if they haven’t been opened already – it was just to stop people messing with things they shouldn’t be messing with.
also @maximus_terragon what shaders did you use and can you give me a link to them?
The photos used were courtesy of Simbad_Tiger. You’ll have to ask him about the shaders. As a side note, I use Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.161 High.

@XeronApril 30, 2017 at 3:25 pm #49586Topic: [website] Getting started guide.
in forum PirateCraft WebsiteI have finally completed a Getting started guide for new players!
It ended up being much bigger than expected, I may have droned on.
I updated the main Guides page to include a link to it https://piratemc.com/guides/
And Its been added under the Guides Menu option as the first most option.
I would love some feedback, If something can be rewritten to be smaller/easier to understand, spelling fixes, if I missed anything out you think should be added, anything you think should be removed.
I have linked to the guide in-game with /gettingstarted and /howtoplay they display the same info guide and link to the getting started page.

You’re way too trusting of people. This isn’t the first time that this exact thing has happened. He set the home with your permission some time before you were looted, so that is a bit of a gray area.I can believe he didn’t do it if you can believe that I didn’t post a message on this topic. Should be no need to lock anything down after.

Thanks Godsdead. After a bit of testing I discovered that using a nether portal in the rail station connects to the cove nether portal. In order to bypass this, I propose an underground rail built from the rail station in the overworld to the rail station in London, to which the other rails will connect. Below is an image of where I propose to build the railway. The red line indicates the rail, which will be underground so not noticeable or in the way of anything. The branch shows two possible routes, one direct but diagonal which is tricky in minecraft and the other completely straight – further testing will be needed before I know which I intend to use. I already have permissions to build at the cove, so that is no problem, however between the rail station and London is a large admin claim I have no permissions in. I have outlined a rough area showing this in yellow. If this proposition is accepted I will require perms there to build the railway. The entrance to this rail would be at the opposite side of the entrance of the cove station. This would have to replace a small door which is currently there. @godsdead
Just need trust, start it off your end 🙂
