Results!
A big thank you for everyone taking part, this was the largest turnout for a ship battle ever (at least 25 people taking part and a further 10 spectating)! Without further ado, here are the results for the 1 hour and 40 minute battle:
Winners (based on who went out last):
- RSS xXx_Teletubbie_Trash_Heap_2000_xXx (Winners)Â – Gruusha/Jmoo (Captain), Minister_Moo, LlewyMudlark, Riverwood202, Nahadoth, Joe_danger_2003, JUSAplayer1 (at the end), reesepatterson04 (at the end)
- Bananawhal (Disabled) – Most of BE in the end (If someone could send me a list of the crew, or the real name of teh sub that would be fab)
- Red Narwhal (Disabled and Surrendered) – Bazurka (Captain), CaptainReef
- Lone Ship (Disabled) – Lone crew members +romich
- The Royal Narwhal (Disabled and Surrendered)- xMadBoltx (Captain), Snapcrackplays
It was a very close fight until the very end, and the last two narwhal ships took a beating from the Teletubbie (I’m not writing out the full name again)Â before they were both disabled. It was really close!
Other rankings, based on my observations:
- Most damage received as % of the ship –Â Bananawhal
- Most damage dealt as % of the ship –Â TeletubbieÂ
- Most damage repaired as % of the ship – Lone Ship (repaired the ship fully twice during the battle)
- Most ships sunk/disabled – Teletubbie (4 ships disabled)
- Most player kills – Draw between Teletubbie and Bananawhal (you two basically nailed everyone, I stopped counting half way though haha)
Out of all 5 ships that took part, all three BE ships were subs, the Lone Ship was a brig (and made fully out of wood and wool!), and the Teletubbie was an indiaman
Damage Report:
- Teletubbie – Minimal damage in the first half of the battle, heavy damage received in the last 30 minutes of the battle
- Whilst fighting the two remaining BE subs, at one point all of the 31 cannons on board the Teletubbie were disabled, along with losing most of her armor on the starboard side, and losing a mast toward the end. At the end of the battle, she went from a 2900 block indiaman, to a 2300 block manowar, due to the amount of armor and cannon blown up.
- Bananawhal – Minimal damage in the first half of the battle, was receiving sustained heavy damage in the second half from the Teletubbie
- Recieved a lot of damage throughout the battle, yet her crew remained calm, lowered her underwater, and tried to repair her each time. Had most of her cannons knocked out quickly, and was fighting with hastily placed cannons on the roof until the very end of the match, when it turned out she was incapable of moving. Her wreck is now on display at the Freeport.
- Red Narwhal – Minimal damage in the first half of the battle, heavy damage in the second half.
- Crewed for the most part by only two people, she did surprisingly well. When she received heavy damage, her captain decided to ram her into the Teletubbie as the Teletubbie’s cannons could not fire downward. However, she received a quick knock out when then Teletubbie untangled herself and shot broadsides into her, disabling her swiftly until her crew surrendered.
- Lone Ship – Heavy damage in throughout the whole battle, but was constantly being repaired by her crew
- While the Teletubbie and the Royal Narwhal were dueling in the first half of the battle, the Lone Ship was taking on the other two ships. Having lost her mast, and many holes in her sides, she almost went out after 40 minutes, but in the last seconds her crew got her moving again, and ran off to conduct repairs. It was only in the second half, where she was in the crossfire between the Bananawhal and the Teletubbie, she took so much damage that her crew could not fix her up, and she was declared out of the battle.
- The Royal Narwhal – Heavy damage in the first half of the battle and subsequently put of out action within 40 minutes
- The one and only legendary ship, but luck was not on her side this time. After dealing some accurate blows to the Teletubbie within the first opening minutes, she was quickly overwhelmed and put out of action with sustained fire.
Next Ship Battle –Â Same time as this week, 8pm UK time, 3pm EST, Saturday 4th November. I will be making a separate post about this soon.

The /warp shop5 Mutiny Cove’s Red Skull Company is expanding. The newest addition is the Baz Shop.
The main floor is being fitted with god items only. To start off with a bang the shop is selling the one-and-only Baz Godset which comes with free mending service. The bearer of that set can drop off parts to get fixed for free at @Bazurka (rules apply, read below).
Also , don’t forget to visit the upper & lower levels. We strife to have the most inexpensive trades available. Ask us for bulk purchases !

I Have updated a lot via discord, a TON of people here reported the wrong issue (when the plugin looses connection to the server and shows 0 for everything) so this thread has been polluted and I no longer know who needs their stats doing. A ton of people would have logged on 24 hours later and would be fine. A bunch have had their stats already done via discord.
If you still need your stats doing, please do send me an updated ESC > Statistics screenshot on here, or even better find me on /discord or http://discord.piratemc.com/ I seem to get them done much faster. Since nobody has updated their post once I have completed it, its impossible to go back through this entire thread. I highly suggest you message me on discord, it will be much easier.

Topic: Inevitable Occurance
Yep… I’m leaving again. And this time it may be for good, but then I do happen to stagger back anyway, but this may be it. Once again, I am going to give away most of my items, my home, and my very existence. I do not recall ever saying how much I appreciated this server in my last “I’m kickin’ the dust” post, but I really do. For just a game, I did happen to learn a bit about myself. I also made friends, enemies, the whole nine. I LOVED this server, and even though today it is nothing like how it used to be, I still see the server as what it is: a thriving community. I do hope for the best for everyone here, and that this place doesn’t get boring while I’m gone. Now, after this post I will distribute my items to the public… Most of them, that is, for I am dedicating my last days here to a project that I will finish without rest (Not literally, but you get it). The medium-sized city of Medditari is Byzantine, Greek, and in some way Arabic-styled build that utilizes Prismarine to give it an Ocean dedicated feel. I will complete the city as a gift to the Piratecraft community for the fun it has given me. When it is fully complete, I hope it is used well for the public, as you all deserve it. Once Medditari is operational, I will further say my goodbyes and that will hopefully be the last you hear of me on the server. I do wish you all the best of luck and keep up the work!
Now, of course, who wouldn’t want to give a few (Ha… few) thanks to specifics (In order of experience):
Reptaria – Now I know we had our ups and downs over the course of history here… But I do, and will, respect you. After all, I owe you that. You were the first person to spare me while on the server. You took me in and taught me the ropes. I appreciate what you’ve done for me in the past, and I never forget.
Michty – God… the chances of you reading this must be > Low <… You, too, have given me a home after I… lost… my other one. Not only did you accept me into your crew and town, but you made it possible for me to meet new people, new sides, crews, and settlements. And even though I left (And in some way: Betrayed) the BE many months later, I still appreciated my time in your crew… your version… only.
CaptainCrackerz – Remember… those pies are for hellos… Welp, it’s good to say that I had a great neighbor xD You were a great friend while we were within range, I give it that. And I do hope the best for your time… well, anytime.
Keto – God… what’s your name now? Ah, another former BE member that ended up where I was… well at least for a while. You have a good sense of humor and you keep it up!
NickyB_123 – I understand that our time knowing each other was VERY short. However, I do like the 13co. and I do hope for the groups success in the future. I can see that things are slow and that the crew has grown small, but just keep trying, it will get there. And I was glad to be a part of it for the short time that I was.
Cysteen – God I used to think your were a nightmare in… pixel-form? But then again, how does a weak BE member view someone in God armor slaughterin’ everyone in their path with swift cleanliness? I just want to say, it was a great honor accompanying you and the other (somewhat) psychopaths in the Asylum. I see that I can tend to be annoying at times (Punch myself thrice for that) and I do hope you forgive me for… those. In general, you are a great person to talk to, and that goes for all the people I end up talking to on TS (By the way: I’d be on there occasionally). I do hope you continue to enjoy your stay on the server, God knows what would happen if you guys weren’t there to spice things up… I think… what?
Riverwood – Damn… murder. Like Cysteen (which I swear… you HAVE to be related…) you know how and when to snap a bone when needed (virtually, that is) and you have fun doing it (which concerns me). Keep up the fun and “Happy hunting”.
Jmoo – Ah… another friend of mine that I can not seem to talk to that much… You seem like a cool dude, same as:

Hey @godsdead I just noticed that when clicking on the Statistic link from the regular website top menu ( linked to https://picatemc.com/stats ) it will load the page without the actual stats gui. However when one goes to https://stats.piratemc.com it will load. Just FYI. Baz
Ok it was still linking to the http version instead of the https version, I updated that, but stats still isnt being updated since I moved web hosts, I need to get around to that.
Oh and I just noticed : When trying to access my profile to edit ( link : https://piratemc.com/members/Bazurka/profile/edit/ ) it will always redirect me to https://piratemc.com/forums/group-discussion/ ?! Even when I copy/paste. Baz

AppleJK reminded me during a conversation a few weeks ago that the active crew list needs updating. So I’ve prepared a new list in time for new year 2017.
First off, I’d like to make some points clear:
1. This is based off data from the 28th and 29th December 2016. It is entirely possible that people have changed crews, come back from inactivity or founded new crews in the meantime.
2. The crews are ranked alphabetically (omitting “The” from the title). The listed players are all the crew members who have been active in the past 30 days. They are listed chronologically with the active crew leaders at the beginning. Anyone who hasn’t been active in that time frame is not included. That includes crew leaders.
3. The crew names are spelt as they are in-game, including typos and spacing issues. I might have typed some of the player names wrong, but please don’t rip my head off because of that. I can’t help it if someone named themselves something untypable like xXxn3P4HanTeeM7824xXx…
