World border realism idea

I think it would be great if say, when you reached the exact east end of the world border you get tped to the exact west end of the world border and vice versa ETC. This would make the world realistically round.

Maldonado I would absolutely hate the warp from one border to another. It doesn’t take long to walk the map.

o wait! THATS GENIUS! but thers one flaw when the new world gets aded this sytem might overule the no tp rule if it dosent then i’m all for it :D.@smokeyriver rememnber that time when athen made the npc forum,we where so exited we even thought of removing tp for good to make it possible.

I think adding this idea would have some sense, only if the map was customly-made and its terrain on the edges would match the other side and only if there was no movecraft(because a ship probably couldn’t be even teleported nor would function properly). Other than that, the mechanics of teleporting players would probably be simple, just to detect when a player is at the border and then teleport him/her to X and Z coordinates * (-1). But if you ask me, it still would have no sense on this server.

I had a point against this but…listen what happened:
Me:But if you get ported to the other end of the world: how willl you come back?
Brain:Duuuuh you just have to sail to this end of the world and it will teleport you back to where you were.
Me: Oh…well i still don’t like the idea.And since i don’t have any point i am taking the reasons the people above me used: it would cause laaaaaaag….yeah.
Oh and what about ships? if you sailed with your ship to that point teleporting the ship would cause even more lag but also could your ship be stuck on solid blocks if we don’t make the whole worldborder new.

I’ve had a similar idea where the whole pirate craft world is actually a giant ship; Because our ranks are made up of positions people would take if they were on a ship and logging on says “Player has come aboard”.

Nah, I mean literally there are still people to this day that believe the Earth is flat, and that the whole “round planet” thing, is a NASA conspiracy crap. Go look it up, it’s pretty amusing.
