Today is the Drop of Windows 10! Whos upgraded!?

Also you can claim your free version of the Minecraft Windows Edition (PE) by following these instructions:

Obviously you wont be able to play on PirateCraft with this Windows Edition.

i would recommend not updating today because this is their way of testing if their Windows 10 has any major problems that they need to fix. I am probably going to wait at least a week to update. Also the server just crashed for some reason. :/

well its updating for me with out me even allowing it too…..but its gonna take a few hours (the hole day even) becuase i’m uploading my vid and well youtueb uploadings……(they take allot!)

Whats really that important or cool about this minecraft anyways. I mean, it just means it’s compatible with the phone version.

i know right its stupid. why cant they just push an update for normal minecraft? yup, its to make their parents download windows 10 :/

that if you only have one computer (or have friends that dint bring there computer) you could actually have a fun time with them in minecraft.this should have been aded along time ago.its not something that takes allot of programing or takes allor of thought to make…heck even i could have made it conpatable (it was a bit lagy do….)

I just upgraded my Windows 8.1 to windows 10, Its been in Beta testing for months and months! So a lot of the bugs are ironed out.

Apparently this new PE version of MC uses hardly any resources, like 2% CPU and 200mb ram.

That is the problem about the bedrock version… it may be more optimized and stuff, but modding is almost inexistant and the best servers are on java.

So no real reason to switch.
