Hi, please could you consider unbanning this user? I have spoken to them, and they are unsure what they have done to cause the ban. I apologise if they have caused any offence, but their behaviour as far as I am aware is normally exemplary, and they have never been banned or warned before on any Minecraft server.
The reason stated is ‘advertising’. I can confirm that the user has no affiliation with any third party site or product, and would not have any reason, financial or otherwise, to promote any brand or product. A permanent ban without any warning or explanation (beyond a single word) seems severe, so I can only assume that the offence was equally severe, but am perplexed as to what it might have been.
If you aren’t willing to rescind the ban, then please could you provide some further information as to the precise nature of the offence?
Thanks for your time.
July 7, 2020 at 1:44 am #67401The reason for the ban you received was likely due to the mentioning of other MineCraft servers- or the sharing of iPs in chat.
I shall however enquire into the ‘exact’ reason why you were banned.

My Unban thread seems to have been deleted or is now inaccessible to me (https://piratemc.com/topic/unban-appeal-masker321/#post-67401), so I am opening a new one to reply. This does sound like a possibility.
The user is relatively new to multi-player Minecraft (I only set the account up a couple of months ago). The user has admitted they did not read the rules. The user was not familiar with some of the conventions of online gaming. If mentioning of another server or IP address is the reason, is it possible that the user could be given a second chance? Any misdemeanour would have been through failing to read the rules rather than through maliciousness, and would not happen again now that they are aware.
Thanks.
July 7, 2020 at 11:29 pm #68567Masker321 honestly, thank you for being so civil as I try look into this for you, as I was unable to see any ‘wrong doing’ in game chat I could access.
If anything, this sounds like it may have been a mistake, as I believe you had may of been offline for a couple of days- and then banned.
However, if I do come across any ‘bannable’ offence, your ban will likely be successfully appealed after the typical ‘time out’ period we have for people who are banned as a punishment.
I’ll link the rules here: https://piratemc.com/information/rules/
July 8, 2020 at 5:55 am #68569Hello @besada .
The player detective_corn (aka Masker321) has been seen on June 4th to offer the IP of a different server in chat. We do not tolerate advertising or having players lured off our server. It is a rule that is mentioned in our Server Rules page and can also be looked at by using the /rules command in-game.
As this is the first offense of Masker321 we will convert the full ban to a temp ban. I bet he/she learned that lesson the hard way. Upon return , please make sure to read the rest of our rules and enjoy your stay!
Cheers, Baz
