Please note: I know _KingRS_ has started a post a while ago discussing the planned VE country, however this topic has a little twist, and I believe it should be sepperate to the original ‘New country’ topic.
Anyway. For all those who do not know, me and _KingRS_ share a medium sized continent, north east of the cove. This has not always been the case. The VE had only recently moved here about 8 weeks ago, after the problem with lord__apples and Vivenheim. The VE and I agreed, I own the savanna (1/4 of the continent), and he gets the desert and the northan savanna (accounting for just over 3/4 of the whole continent), so he has enough room to do whatever he wants. Plus, I don’t need a whole continent, that would be ridiculous.
Here is the twist. _KingRS_ has been talking for quite a while about making his own country. As it would later turn out, this ‘country’ would be the section he owned of the continent. That’s fine by me, non of my business. However, as of today, I have found out that _KingRS_ and the other leaders, would like to claim the whole continent as a part of their ‘Verrusian Continent’, including my section.
I’m not part of the VE, nor do I wish to be associated with the VE in any way; I am independent and I own my own mini ‘Empire’ in the savanna. King offered that I would be given an independent state in the continent of Verrusia, however as stated before, I do not wish to be a part of this VE country, so I rejected a number of times, repeating that the savanna is mine, and mine allown, and not land of the VE, as I was here first.
_KingRS_ started to threaten me with military action, and an invasion if I were not to do as he says. Now don’t get me wrong here, but I feel that is wrong, despite us being on a Pirate server. A leader of one crew, should not be intimidated and threatened by another leader regarding clear land boundaries.
I would compare this to the USA, wanting to make Canada a part of the USA, despite them being two different countries. _KingRS_ just dose not seem to get that there can be 2 countries on a continent that can live peacefully. Furthermore, I would later find out that this whole plan of his has been there for quite a while, and that “I am in his way”, even though, he has only recently moved here. He also planned to take over my large port and claim it for the VE, as it is the largest structure on this continent.
The VE have a large army, I have not a single man. If the VE invaders, I’m f***ed. So basically, either I comply and am part of the VE continent, or I don’t comply and I become part of their VE continent. What is this!? I thought the VE aimed to keep peace! Surely 3/4 of a continent is still a massive area that could be the VE country. King, let me have my part, and you yours.
So, now you know the story from my point of view. I would like to know what others think of the situation (including VE members as I believe in a balenced point of view). I do not want pity, or trouble. I just want to see what others think of my situation.

We had a conversation about the continent and as you know VE have had plans to create a country for a while now, and you and the Xenon Empire are the only other inhabitants on the continent, so I asked you if you would join us instead of attacking straight away.
Your port and neighbouring towns would be given a Verussian state hood, and the whole Savannah biome that you specified would become a ‘Terragon State’ that you would govern.
You could do whatever you want with your state; create your own military, laws and system whatever. I only ask that it would be considered part of Verussia to relive us of border disputes ect…
Also you kind of leaked VE plans and info that I told you in private :/

Firstly, I know very well what you wanted to do, and the language you chose when talking to me, does indeed make you seem like you are ‘picking on the little ones’, I have screenshots.
Secondly, “your port and neighbouring port would be given state hood”, and that is exactly what I don’t want.
Thirdly, ” in only ask that it would be part of Verrusia to relive border disputes”. What disputes? All in getting is that you want the whole land, that’s all. And your not getting my part.
Lastly, “and you kind of leaked VE plans”, should have told me not to say anything plus, they are not secret if you stated that you wanted your own continent/county in another forum post.

I don’t understand things like this. VE wanting you to be part of them? Tell them to screw off, and build where you want.
This whole invisible claimblocks crap is ridiculous as long as you’re not building directly beside them. (Few biomes over? Tell them to screw themselves.)

I'm just a sweet ol' grandma tryna understand wtf I just read.September 15, 2015 at 10:38 pm #21300bro in my experience a lot of VE towns become run down and generally abandoned just don’t join the VE they will war drag you they might deny it here but it will happen claim as much land as seems reasonable and call it a day I know if the VE pushes on you even a little plenty of pirates hate them and would gladly help anyone who is being attacked by the VE.
P.S. I know they can come off as very hostile people even tho they might not mean too
September 16, 2015 at 1:04 am #21304Urgh…I asked you if Port Terragon would join the country Verussia since this is something that VE have been anticipating for months now.
After my many attempts to persuade you, you refused. I then told you of my previous idea (this was about a month ago when I was on holiday) “My first intention was to invade”. This was not a direct threat, and Maximus knows this since I talked about this before.
Also I don’t appreciate you trying to portray me as evil or a bully. I asked nicely over minechat and made no direct threats. I only ask that Port Terragon and the surrounding Savannah biome that you have made claims on, be considered a State in Verussia. And if you read through my first post regarding the country, you would know CrazyPirate said ” Could the BE control a section in the country”.this would be the same.
Anyway, VE will continue to create the country-disregarding our previous treaty with the Savannah or any land that you lay claim on.

September 17, 2015 at 3:13 pm #21327In fairness though, when the BE asked if we would have a stake in the country, it was because you were like post war Germany; the only two powers of the time, the Elves and the Brits, were all but at war, and we had fought many battles through Verussia, some which you might not be aware about. So, the creation of Verussia was intended to bring about a joint project, from which the Elves and Brits could make peace. Was less of a conquest, more of a proxy war.

Make your country on your part, do what you want with it.
I dont want a war, i have been peaceful and have done nothing but favours for you and the VE, and you have given me nothing of equal in return, except a small amount of money for rebuilding Vivenheim.
But I swear, if I find you or other VE troops on my soil, I will have my revenge. I understand you planned all this long ago, but why did you not make your move earlier, like in April. I have been here for over 4 months, I have built a majestic port, that will and shall not be on land owned by the VE. I’m not moving, and you will not move, I understand that.
I will not attack, I will simply defend what is rightfully mine in this our agreement, that has become obsolete overnight. I’m not impressed.
As I have told you before, you can pick your target, but not your enemy.
Officially, I was here first, but my greed is balenced. You on the otherhand, just wish to set your ideas forth. “We intended to use politics first, then military action”. I don’t call this political. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>It seems all along, my input in the situation was little to non existent. </span>
As to all the support I’m getting, you have my gratitude. Stand your ground, I shall inform you in good time.

@XeronSeptember 17, 2015 at 5:26 pm #21335You are really misinterpreting what I meant/said, you won’t be a VE colony or anything I literally want the Xenon to control the state and for you and everyone else to recognize Your town and surrounding areas as ‘Terragon State owned by XE in Verussia’.
And @Icanra I’m not trying to drive him out, I’m trying to make a country, you can make your town, I just want it to be known as owned by the LR and in the country Verussia. That’s all I ask.

RS, this whole idea is stupid. How can the “state” be his own, if it’s in Verussia and is considered a Verussian state? Maybe he wants it to be his own “country”?
