Now we have arenas back, lets get building! I am looking for builders to help build our new “arena” gametype.
Resources will not be supplied as we take pride in being a survival server!
At present we have two arenas.
/ffa j Free for all.
/arena j Last man/team standing
Free for all has been changed many times, but it still needs improving! I am looking for a team to help build the Team Arena, we were testing it out last night and we had a very basic arena just to see how it worked, I named this arena “Ruins”.
- 2 Teams (Red and Blue)
- 2 People per team
- No win/loose prizes.
- There’s no waitrooms, you jump straight into game as a gladiator as the only class, we might be able to use the existing wait rooms from our FFA (If we want to keep the same classes)
- We can create as many “classes” as we want, Who wants to design a new class? It needs a name, items they spawn with and any enchants.

June 30, 2014 at 5:14 pm #3383Well, although it was designed to be spleef arena, hence the snow blocks, Port Royal as a relatively large venue, although it is considerably bare, again due to it being spleef. If its okay for size, then im happy to change it, but I may need help with designing the other bits and bobs. I’ve also excavated a bit under the arena, so possibly underground combat? but yeah, look it over, tp there, whatever, happy to help!
June 30, 2014 at 6:41 pm #3384Crazy, see if you can get it finished to a decent standard, and Then I can add teh spleef addon for Battlearena, I still need to test worldguard so we can re-generate arenas.
June 30, 2014 at 7:12 pm #3387So, it will remain spleef? Okay, got it, but on a different note, should the floor when playing spleef be plain, or should there be igloos, snowmen, etc. Plain snow looks a little bare. Open to suggestions!
September 10, 2014 at 1:10 pm #4641Ok, so this arena type never took off or was ever used for Team-Games. Instead I will be using this game type for a ship battles when we get another world to play in.

September 10, 2014 at 2:18 pm #4644He already sent me a copy from a version! I think for our new arenas in a new world, im going to put up an arena building forum up and let them be created in creative on a flatworld, I want them to be detailed. Not sure how intensive new worlds will be on the server just yet, I would prefer a world per arena (If there big) Then we can have some natural terrain builds.
