Instead of making ships faster why dont we make vanila boats slower ?

Or even disable them And add a new kind of boat (Longboat)

which doesnt require wool and can be maximum 25 blocks and its slow

I already tried this 4 years ago, just pissed people off, Its way more convenient to make a tiny built-in ship. Dont worry we have a bunch of plans for using ships.
