Ships Can Be Useless

I read from what Bislo had said in the fourm made by Elsa Sterling, and he is right. We shouldn’t be allowed to have warps. We should be able to sail our ships into trade, sell our merchant items and go around. Pirates don’t teleport, they sail! Ships should be used more often, because what’s the purpose of having ships if we only teleport around? My basic point is, that ships need to be apart of our economy. So turn off warps, and let us sail! Before you guys say, what about the deckhands who can’t sail? 1. It makes them play longer/donate. 2. It helps us get team-mates. This would force us to expose our ships, have ship battle, conquer other ships, and more. Also one major problem is that people don’t know how to sail in the right direction, so maybe add routes on the live map? One last thing came to my mind, it will be easier for us pirates to sell. ring in our ships filled with ores and goods, and then we are good on selling/restocking, and we sail back to get more.

This i’ll second. Definitely on the warp front, all the staff last night were having a big discussion on this and a few other things. So hopefully an outcome will be posted soon.

I agree with 2 gentlemen above! Testing it out would be great, and it would give the community feel how it would actually look like. Also, I think that cruise should skip more blocks, so you can actually move around on the ship while cruising. (That is how it was originally intended to work)

I think alot of people would be really upset if warping was not an option.

Myself, all of my homes are super far away. Without warps I would be able to do literally nothing. Not to mention I’ve bought 2 warps, so also not very fair to people who paid irl money for the convenience of having people come to their shops.

Once again, there should be some reimbursement offered to those who bought warps. And maybe make the /sethome limit to only 1 for ALL ranks? That way you still have to sail if you really want to get anywhere, but you can always go to home sweet home.

Agreeing with above. Recorded a Ship fight today hope you enjoy it 😀

Backstory: After a failed siege I traveled back to le island to resiege and steal the ship which i did and safely returned it to the cove. I look on the map and then back in chat. Seems the people that lost there ship were not so happy and were sailing towards my base, So sara and I decided to meet them in a ship and this is where the video starts. ENJOY !
