Earlier today (23.04.2014/04.23.2014) I spoke with GodsDead and Shipoo we spoke yet against about ships. I left the discussion due I was cooking. It ended with that I told them I would do some research and post my proposal here.

I have catogrized the speed of each ship by slow-medium-fast. Also worth mention the stats aren’t 100% accuriate. Some I have written N/A in the block section, that’s because I am unsure on block size.
Below every stats cheet I have an example picture of the ship/boat, I do not claim any of these pictures as my own.

April 23, 2014 at 7:31 pm #2336For more ships visit
April 24, 2014 at 9:37 am #2340This is absolutely amazing, This is the kind of research I needed to help me sort out ships!
Even better, all of those ship names will fit onto a sign, apart form East Indiaman, but that can be shortened to Indiaman.
This is better than having ship1 ship2 ship3! I will have to create a /ships custom text to list them all for quick reference once built.
I can’t limit the amount of cannons per ship, but I can Limit the amount of working cannons each player can use! At present its 2 for gunner and 10 for a donator, I think this needs a work-over too.
What was the name of that small cannon you were talking about?
One more thing we can change is how sustainable to sinking they are, so if a ship needs 70% wood to float, if it gets a hole blown in the side I can set a percentage of that wood thats needed to keep the ship afloat if it falls under the needed percent to stay afloat it sinks, At the moment its set quite high, a ship needs to loose 25% of a needed material to sink!
April 24, 2014 at 1:39 pm #2341I hate to say this but I need say it since I want the ship signs to be perfect (Or as close as can be).
Speed shouldn’t be measured by rank. I can see you didn’t actually completely do that but here’s what I think
Schooners and Dhows should be faster vessels.
Also here’s another vessel for a rank of whatever choice
Junk
Origin: Oriental area
Speed: Fast
Cannons: N/A
Blocks: 300-500 ish
April 24, 2014 at 3:06 pm #2342Speed wasn’t going to be rank orientated, Size will be, I would prefer to have each rank be able to create two ships, A small fast ship and a slower big ship.
We could create one small ship that’s usable for all (apart from deckhand) ranks, which would be best suited as a cheap-fast but easily sinkable ship?
April 24, 2014 at 4:32 pm #2343more wool=more speed
more wood=less likely to sink
All ranks should be able to build a ship, the new one too, except the deckhand. New rank can build a raft, or dingy, while others can be decent in size. However, as many ships as you want to build, but only of a certain size. This allows fleets!April 24, 2014 at 5:04 pm #2344Xebec should be a small, fast ship for Sailor. It’s alot like… A french counterpart to the junk
April 28, 2014 at 8:04 am #2397Apologizes for my brief absence. I did find this site I think you will find very help, it’s a fleet guide for Assassin’s Creed IV:Black Flag. I believe it will give you a few ideas.

@Tom
About the block % first.
Example
Gunner
Type: Frigate
Canons: 12 (both sides)
Speed: Fast
Blocks: N/A (30% wood)
What I meant is if the damage is below 30% wood the ship will sink. Sadly I left that out when I wrote these charts.
Small guns? Do you mean swivels? Sorry, tad blank here.
April 28, 2014 at 9:37 am #2400Awesome work!! When’s this all gonna be implemented? or when are you guys gonna start implementing? I would love to help out!
btw it’s Galleon not Gallion
Captain of the Pirate Crew Black Clover
See ya maties either behind my cannons or in their line of fire
April 28, 2014 at 2:01 pm #2407New ship added and old ships re-furbished, check out http://piratemc.com/information/ships-cannons/
More to come later, we have ships for Cadet, Sailor and Donator at present, So the carpenters Brig is next!
