I presume the server was timing out due to it about to crash, its does this due to the hosts mysql database, I am looking into an alternative method for mysql storage since our current host is in-capable of running a mysql server, Which is hilarious as mysql is 1000x more stable than running a minecraft server and has been around for 10 years+, It really does prove the ability of the technical staff running the shop at fluctis.

We have had 22 hours downtime, I have never had to deal with such sloppy hosting until I got into the minecraft world.

I will check the logs once I have a direct GMT time to check, Since everyone is from different timezones, but I have a strong feeling it was their mysql server crashing again.

Because of this recent upset, I want to keep everyone in the loop, so we now have a Public status page that will still be active even if the website & the minecraft server are down. http://status.piratemc.com/

Does the service outage match when you were all trying to connect?

Ive been “timing out” very frequently lately. Even now i cant connect for more than 30 seconds without getting kicked… Though it looks as though theres a bunch of people on and the server looks like its up at the moment. Any suggestions/insight?

tried and cant get the cmd promt to access it… Every time i login it sits there in a black screen without access to anything. ive tried restarting, system restore, updating java, messing with different game versions, nothings worked thus far. For some reason this is the only server im having the problem with. Any ideas? i have been able to play for about 5 minutes before this happens recently. Once i get timed out the server wont ping for a little and when it does i go through the whole black screen process all over again.
