Ahoy! Wondering if the Piratecraft server would be safe for my 10 year old to join. He’s super geeked by the idea of playing on a server with other people, and loves the idea of the pirate theme. I have not let him play on a public server before because of the risk of harassment or abuse.

Are players generally respectful of each other on this server? Do you have experience reporting another player? Was your ticket handled well? Has anyone heard of someone targeting a minor on this server? Do you have thoughts or ideas about the safety of this server for kids?

For a 10-year-old, I’d say it’s safer than many public Retro Bowl servers, but not foolproof. Maybe start him off with chat disabled and keep an eye on his playtime.

For a 10 year old, this might be a mixed bag. Even if most people behave properly, the pirate theme plus PvP might not create the most kid-friendly atmosphere Survival Race
