PirateCraft Marketplace Ahoy scallywag! I’m proud to announce the PirateCraft marketplace, Doubloon Haven. Doubloon Haven is a large city just outside

November 23, 2016 at 4:20 pm #44057Awesome Godsy! Thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to make this. It answered all of my questions 🙂
Also I love the rent! It means lazy people who rented a shop will run out of money! So people actually have to work to keep their shop.

Im not sure why that link wasn’t clickable, but I’ve fixed it, bloody automated posting to the forums didn’t work as it should have!

November 23, 2016 at 11:09 pm #44085May I request trade signs only?
Hi
November 24, 2016 at 11:14 am #44131May I request trade signs only?
Im the whole city?
Personally I agree minecraft should be trade for trade, but people need to make money to pay rent.
November 24, 2016 at 10:02 pm #44163Perhaps make rent items? Such as the big one cost about 1.5K per 30. A diamond goes for about $10, so using //calc I can find out that it could be about 2.3 stacks of diamonds based on rent. Or, players could have options e.g. Iron, Wood Logs, Diamonds, or possibly something rare. Or Idea No. 2
A land lord could buy the shop and rent out the shops for a trade of their choice
Hi
November 24, 2016 at 11:07 pm #44170A few pirates have brought up beacons in the city, they think its an eyesore that distracts from the builds, I agree they do not fit in with the general design. tell me what you think in the comments, we can blacklist blocks if necessary.
yes please. they are an absolute eyesore.
trade for trade sounds fun and all, but money is more versatile and more widely used than items trade for trade.
Chorus fruit has been mentioned as an issue from a few people, if you lock your chests (They’re already auto locked) there shouldn’t be a worry with someone getting into your vault. Not sure if this can be blocked with WorldGuard, more research is needed.
for now I don’t mind it as much, it will only become a royal pain in the barnacles when pvp is enabled, if someone is able to chorus into a shop and kill you while youre restocking… I certainly hope there is a way to toggle it!! out of curiosity, would pearls and chorus be in the same “flag”?
overall, despite the issues, I think the new marketplace is beautiful! I certainly hope it helps trade and economy grow, without the trolls nuking prices to the point theyre worth as much as a stack of dirt. *coughmendingpricescough* keep up the good work gods ^-^/ I’d also love to be part of the build team to help build and decorate other parts of the city 🙂
If I had a nickel for every time I, Ooo hey, a butterfly!! *runs off chasing the butterfly*
