I am going to start keeping logs of Horsia/TAS battles just for this reason. Good job!
@AppleJK , the Grim Sea is more commonly referred to as “The South Sea.” Also, the sea you named “Gondolin Sea” I actually named. I was the first one to even explore and settle in that area! Rep didn’t even know I was there when she started to make the city. I called it: “River’s Bay” (Or River’s Sea). It would be nice if that was changed. Thanks, River

This is seriously some amazing work man, we need to have a dediacted place to save all the infographic’s you create.
There is software to create click-able infographic maps that export direct to a webpage.
If you did this all in illustrator then its a vector, which means it can be scaled to any size.
Maybe we should look into a software way of doing this so its not a graphic so it can be updated easily.
This is seriously amazing.

May 9, 2017 at 9:39 pm #49779this is outstanding!
just one thing to note- on the one map u did with the 144 different points, you called number 13 Port Hope, when its actually my base xD (i totally understand the mistake, id have gone mad if i had to look at this many maps for so long XD)
Keep up the great work!

May 10, 2017 at 3:04 pm #49792Oh, the ‘Super Sea’ is often called the West Sea by myself and the other inhabitants, although only the most westerly portion near the ice continent. Amazing work though!
May 10, 2017 at 5:45 pm #49793I have another option for you, I could create a map-makers rank that has permission to add markers to the actual live map, this way we can create a new “set” which is the labels to the left, a set thats default as off, that icons can be added to on the actual map, the only downside is that each “label” is limited in space to what can be fit into the minecraft input box, so click-information would be limited to what could be fitted inside it.
May 10, 2017 at 9:05 pm #49803Actually, I think the cool thing about it would be to be able to link to the wiki directly, so that people are encouraged to make a wiki page. But dynmap can’t do that, right? 🙁

May 10, 2017 at 11:33 pm #49807Possibly we could find a plug-in allowing us to convert specific sizes of images into paintings/item frames to display the work? I am not sure how well this could work, or even if I can. Maybe ask the developer? @Godsdead
Hi
May 11, 2017 at 12:16 pm #49812Thank you for all these notes, I will correct everything as soon as possible!
I will add a number for CaptainCrackerz’ castle (I wonder if it has a name?), add Thirteen Colonies to the coalition in the 0utlaws war, change Grim Sea to South Sea, see about the Gondolin/River sea, split or change the Super Sea to West Sea, add new Entarian towns, make sure that Tirion is elven and not part of Thirteen Colonies, add an influence area for Greywatch.
Thank you again.
@Godsdead I’m glad the work is good! Yes, they were made with Adobe Illustrator and they are all vectors (not counting the screenshots of course).
Usually the main website development software is Adobe Dreamweaver, but I don’t know if it would the best way to create a clickable infographic with external links. If we start with a basic online infographic, we would need the map as background and then 145+ small clickable icons that redirect to specific wiki pages. Then a link to this infographic should be put somewhere in the live map page or in the Piratecraft global nav, so people would visit it.
I would be more than happy to help with the dynmap in the meanwhile, even without any official title, but as Bislo pointed out, the main focus I wanted to push was to encourage the use of the wiki!

I agree, If you look at the live map and show the layers for “Regen” these are just square boxes for Regions me and Blu are working on, These have clickable areas, colors for background and border, and could probity display a URL if you inputted the URL as a hyperlink in HTML, they don’t have to be square either, you can make any shape you want, this could be an option to outline where battles happened. and its got the option for color coding, and also adding icons as extra information for waypoints/points of interest.
Its a bit to learn, but me and Blu recently learnt how to properly use the Areas in Dynmap, and its only permissions needed, and then its all on one map!
May 11, 2017 at 10:49 pm #49819@AppleJK my castle’s name is Fort Ritz (a pun i made off of the “crackerz” part of my name 2 years ago) haha

May 13, 2017 at 5:28 pm #49867I felt slightly salty towards some of the things of the map, probably just due to me not being able to get on the server for about 5 months and exams.
anyway, here it goes.
The influence map seems to be missing a circle about within the main juice circle, of the TXO/IE.
Political Map, the ‘Iborian Camp’ (Number 25) is not named that, but now that I think of it, I am not too bothered currently, but its correct current name is the Iborian Peninsula.
This last bit, to be honest is just little names you’ve given seas so your crew can navigate a little easier, but I feel it should be more of a server naming of seas (unless otherwise like River’s Bay :/ ), and that the majority of the seas, should not be crew or player orientated names as such, mainly I am just a bit salty about how the sea we share is called the ‘Juice’ Sea, rather than maybe Iborian Sea, perhaps, due to it existing there longer and that the Iborian Empire no longer exists, it would seem a decent name, though I could say it is crew orientated name. SO maybe a better name could be sourced.
Anyway, apart from that, it looks nice, you’ve obviously worked hard, and maybe server agreed names could be chosen, so places like ‘Cold Sea’, doesn’t sound so boring. 🙂
