Besides the ports will there be other islands wit no other use then being a home as Dungeon or a shop? it’s just that if there were more islands then just the ports people would fight for the island’s,it would be fight day and night and that would be awesome!

June 4, 2015 at 6:45 pm #14737Well it would need to be a 64 stackable item. Why? because its not supposed to cost a lot to acquire, but the profit should not be as high either. This way the large ships actually do have a purpose in this, since you cant carry a lot of stuff on your own, but with a large frigate or something, you would be able to put a lot of items into chests, so by filling up a ship with 10 chests full of the given good you want to sell, the profit would be worthwhile.
I’m thinking something along the lines of buy for £1 and sell for £1,05 per item.. alone one stack would not give much profit, but with a large ship full of chests, the profit would be worth the long trip.
Idk if you can add permissions to limit the number of chests placed on each ship in-game? this would help prevent people from literally covering their ship with just chests.. You could also just bump the price up per item, that way people cannot afford to buy so much at a time. The risk of setting sail would also be greater.
Also for preventing people to make massive farms near the sell place, just rename the items you buy.. Like with gunner clusterbombs compared to regular TNT.. I know we would only be able to sell given items bought at the buy place, but i think its fairly good to start of with this anyway, if its good, maybe we can add goods you can produce yourself.

June 7, 2015 at 1:54 pm #14851So I read people talking about charging for tp’ing, warping and home’ing and Paul’sOnFire talking about having a ‘cooldown’ rate of about half an hour.
I propose the charging to be around about £5 instead of £1 so the pressure of teleporting is greater and that the cooldown rate could either be like 30 minutes, 60 mins, 90 mins or more so people wont keep doing it repeatedly in turn reducing some of the lag on the server!
Everyone is a winner(ish) (one way or another).

Me and @bislo1 tested custom named items, so that only these items cant be bought/sold from special venders, and it works! So that’s cool, but I also want to test NCP’s to sell to, as that might be cool (Maybe an addition at a later date)
@BGraph you keep your homes, nothing will be lost, people just won’t be able to use /home for the 2 days when we run the event.

If i can do this we all can.Let’s build an infrastructure where we need it and get this thing on.

June 8, 2015 at 3:35 am #14898As i do love the idea i have to agree with @saraphim7 i need at least my set homes to be at all productive + i cant get back in my house without /home because i would rather not risk me life and gear trying to cross a lava and cactus moat xD. As for @Dr.solid i love idea for some SEASON bosses like a Santa pirate at Christmas, a black beard pirate king so on so forth it will add a team building aspect to the server and it brings opportunity’s to build alliances with other crews so i would love for you @GodsDead to put some thought into it the boss possibility are endless – xXCypress654Xx

June 8, 2015 at 4:05 am #14900I would be more open to the idea of no tps if sailing in ships were a lot easier. The ships right now are too buggy to be a reliable way of travel. Using my ship more often to travel/fight in would be my top wish for this server. Upgrading the ships in Piratecraft would allow for more roleplay to happen.
If the ships would be improved no TPs (but still home) ever would be very fun! Sea fights could and would be AMAZING!!
I love playing on Piratecraft and only wish for the server to become better! (:
