New (stupid) player – chest/golden shovel

Hihi,

I just joined the server and I admit I kind of suck at starting out..I put my chest somewhere (the yellow Treasure Chest) then removed it, does this have any further impact on gameplay? (Hoping not really, because now I just have a generic Chest). How should I start out – just basically explore and craft a golden shovel, then claim some land? (Basically vanilla MP?)

Lovely server from what I have seen of it though, eager to play more. 🙂

And sorry for the noobness :p

To get a good understanding for the General Gameplay, do the command /motd , read what pop’s up, and do all the help commands it mentions. Read them: thoroughly.. this server is really in-depth which makes it beautiful and unique; but hard to start out on, so once again, read all help things available to you. Also: the book you start out with (if you lost it /kit bible helps ) is the PirateCraft Bible for a reason, it is a wonderful help if you need any explanations or a reference for the commands. Good Luck out there, also keep an eye on the Missives, they offer useful tad’s of info every know and then! Once more, Good Luck, see you in game! 😉
