Hello all!
I have made this post because Gods asked earlier today on the server if anyone had any ideas for new ships. I was told to make a forum post about the ideas. So i did.
1. I have heard that a lot of people think that having airships, but ONLY in the end is a cool idea. I concur.
2. I have done my research for sailing ships and found these.
A barque, barc, or bark is a type of sailing vessel with three or more masts having the fore- and mainmasts rigged square and only the mizzen rigged fore-and-aft
A Bilander, also spelled billander or bélandre, was a small European merchant ship with two masts
A junk is an ancient Chinese sailing ship design that is still in use today.
A Clipper was a very fast sailing ship of the middle third of the 19th century. They were fast, yacht-like vessels
A Fluyt is a Dutch type of sailing vessel originally designed as a dedicated cargo vessel.
A ship of the line was a type of naval warship constructed from the 17th through to the mid-19th. Its bigger than a Man O War. ask bcbcommish for the details. i don’t remember them all even though he’s telling me it right now.
A caravel is a small, highly maneuverable sailing ship developed in the 15th century by the Portuguese to explore along the West African coast and into the Atlantic Ocean
A galiot, galliot or galiote, is a term for three different types of historical naval vessels that sailed on different seas, and for a type of French flat-bottom river boat or barge
A lugger is a class of boat, widely used as traditional fishing boats, particularly off the coasts of France, England and Scotland. It is a small sailing vessel with lug sails
This concludes any ships types that I found that I find interesting. Feel free to add onto the list.
