After the October Stock report, the following measures will be taken to ensure alliance stability:
- 20% Sales Tax towards any crews not in the FNA
- 15% Sales Discount for all FNA members
For example if stone prices are at 2$ a stack for FNA members will cost 1.70$ and a stack for foreigners will cost 2.30$
That is all, if you wish to join the alliance please contact @InventorJohn @OfficialRS @Wilson or @Chasedillon123

October 13, 2016 at 2:39 am #41921Jammin_Mas, this is something the FNA uses, a group that has been around for a long time. Not as long as the LoN, But still, a long time.
1. Federation Nations Alliance. Composed of multiple close nations that protect and support each other.
Like a LoN, but closer. Same ideals though.
2.Multiple Nations are enforcing this, and this is what we sell for. With the recent spring of great places to sell and companies rising, this is our part.
Don’t like it? Don’t ask stupid questions.
3. This is for those curious of our peace group, and giving them the range of prices within and without.More of this are expected 🙂
4.Take note of your crew name.
The only outrageous thing is how uneeded you are on here, if you don’t want to buy this stone, (which is a relatively good price considering what some sell for) 3+.
I mean really, we’re giving others the chance to get some pretty cheap items, it’s good to tell others.
Really, don’t comment and start something extremely Unnecessary.
Good day.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PirateCraft Veteran, circa 2015.October 13, 2016 at 11:18 am #41928Why would this even be needed? Nobody is going to buy crap tons of stone, especially if you decide to tax them for it… Even then, if I wanted to buy a 100 stacks (why would you ever need that much?), I would only save $15. To me it’s seems stupid and futile, but gl with your strange business.

@GTerwilligerOctober 13, 2016 at 3:08 pm #41936@Wilson @OfficialRS @Chasedillon123 This is a terrible deal. This will only be a burden on the revenue that FN members can bring into their country’s economy. Which means that NO ONE would want to join because it would hinder their economic growth. Also through LOGICAL thinking you should know that there are only three outcomes of this policy.
1. The continuous burden to the Federated Nations’ economic growth.
2. The discouragement of Federated Nations members trading with each other because they could sell products at a decent price and make more money by trading with foreign nations rather than ones in the alliance group due to less revenue and a reduction in cooperativity.
3. BOTH!
I know these are the exact opposite results of your intentions, but this plan will not work. Another policy has to be made.

October 13, 2016 at 5:23 pm #41942What you’re doing is technically protectionism. This is good news for your crew members who don’t have a lot of money to buy things like God sets. It’s bad news for your crew’s business people however.
If someone wants to buy something like a God set, there is enough foreign supply to make a 20% price hike for FNA goods very unappealing. This means foreign buyers will go elsewhere instead. So your vendors will only be able to sell goods at the lower discount price within your own crew (if they for some reason decide to adhere to these new tax policies).
This will have two main effects:
#1 Your vendors will be making less money for the same amount of work. This won’t make them happy or fill their purses.
#2 Your crew will not be getting any money from external foreign sources. There will be less money in circulation within your crew (especially if people continue buying things from foreign sources). Less money leads to deflation. Your internal prices will drop over time.Because of #2, your prices will become affordable again on the international market. Foreign investors will flock to buy your cheap wares and you’ll be left wondering why you didn’t make more money despite your tax hike. Welcome to the world of a sweat shop.
Example:
1. 64x stone costs $2.-. You add the taxes. It’s now $1.70 internally and $2.40 externally. You have say $20’000 split among all your crew members.
2. No one from outside buys your stone any more. Your poor crew members are happy, your vendors not so much. They only make $1.70 a stack now.
3. People continue buying things they need from foreign vendors. Your crew’s value of $20’000 begins to shrink. After some time it’s only $12’000.
4. The poor players are even poorer (because your crew’s total value has dropped and the only players who’ve got any money supplies are your vendors), so they buy less stone these days. A stack of stone costs more (proportionally) within your crew than it did before the tax hike, even though the price hasn’t changed! Your vendors have tons of unsold stone, so they lower the price to move stock and make more profit for themselves. It’s now worth $1.35 a stack internally.
5. Now that a stack’s worth $1.50 with no taxes, foreign investors find your offer attractive. The 20% tax means they only have to pay $1.80 for a stack!
6. Your stone stacks are all bought out for $1.80 a stack by foreign investors. Your vendors have made a loss of $0.20 for every stone stack sold + whatever they lost in the past weeks or months leading up to the price drop.So in a nutshell, your prices will drop until your foreign stone price is worth the same amount as one stack is currently worth on the international market ($2.-). If this doesn’t happen, you won’t be able to sell common goods. The result is that you’re just selling things cheaper to your own crew members (and not making as much money as you potentially could). Thus, why introduce a foreign tax at all? The only way this could be of benefit to you is if you exclusively sell very rare, very expensive items which are in high demand.
Cheap offers within your crew is not necessarily a not a bad idea, however. BE vendors sometimes make *special* crew offers for example. So if you’re a new recruit and want to buy a set of God, you get it at a cheaper rate in the BE than you would from some other crew. This provides incentive to new players to join the crew, though one must say that the wares offered at a cheaper price are usually the ones that aren’t selling anywhere else.
October 13, 2016 at 5:24 pm #41943I agree with inventor john, to an extent. The British Empire has been around for years now, and yet we’ve never introduced taxes, or anything vaguely of the sort. Making this work across an alliance seems almost harder! Was this policy not discussed before you posted it?
October 13, 2016 at 11:59 pm #41959jeez guys have you not found out yet this is to promote people to join the FNA? You save a ton of money by joining with this agreement in comparison giving people incentive to join, you guys need to stop looking at what is litterally happening and think outside the box, maybe, just maybe, there’s a little more brains behind this than you may think at first glance.
firstly @GTerwilliger of course the deal isnt tah good, what i am trying to make is a pocket economy and incentive to join the FNA, fact is in the long run you would be saving money by joining, we aren’t gonna sacrifice vast amounts of money in order to get members.
@PaulOnFire @InventorJohn I will say it again, if all you have to do is join a group in order to get better prices on items, people will come, and what i am trying to do here is once they do come, there will be no one to buy from BUT the FNA and some small dealers, because they can GET products cheaper in the group and sell them to non-FNA at a tax, and might I remind you john you agreed with my idea -.-
@CrazyPirate1 this was discussed, most liked it, and part of the deal of joining the alliance is you follow the trade agreement, if we find someone not following it, we ask why they’re even here and they get kicked out, and trust me, i know this will shrink worker’s pockets, but the thing is we have a plan that will work around this, but seeing people’s reactions I am thinking no one ever wants to experiment with new ideas.I wanted to see if this could work, ok? Excuse me for trying to bring some new material to the table.

Then what are we supposed to be looking at???
firstly @gterwilliger of course the deal isnt tah good,
…
And I will keep in mind the next time I want to save .50 cents on 2 stacks of stone… I will make sure to first join the FNA forum group, then wait for an FNA member to join (is that even a crew? how would i know?), then I will buy 2 stacks stone, do the math, then figure out if I’ve been scammed or not… Seems legit.
