Hey guys and gals, I have a couple of playlists on YouTube of music that I listen to while playing Piratecraft and I thought why not put together a playlist of old Sea Shanties and pirate themed instrumental music for the server just for fun. So here ya go.
Hit play all, click shuffle, minimize the YouTube tab/window, start your favorite game, and enjoy.
MrBluBeardedYetis Sea Shanty Smash up (all ages)
Here are the other two just for poops and giggles
MrBluBeardedYetis Metal Mayhem (may not be cool for younger kids like 12 and under due to the graphic nature of a few videos. Gore, Disturbing scenes, basic death metal cinema.)
MrBluBeardedYeti’s Dubstep/Glichhop/D&B/Trap mix (all ages)
What music do you listen to while playing? If you have a playlist feel free to post it in this thread I would love to hear them.
P.S. if anyone knows a better way to share playlists let me know. YouTube is just the easiest for all people to access without signing up for a service.
February 8, 2016 at 9:17 pm #29287Very cool 😀
But I hear more often music like Dance, EDM and sometimes Dubstep… I don’t know why, but I can play better with it xDP.S. You also can try to use SoundCloud.
The enemy of my enemy is my friendFebruary 8, 2016 at 9:19 pm #29289Another Problem is on YouTube, not every person can hear the music because of “Gema”. In Germany many titles you hear on YouTube aren’t allowed.
The enemy of my enemy is my friendFebruary 8, 2016 at 9:22 pm #29290This is a brilliant idea @MrClusterFluxin we could have a shared playlist on Spotify!
That metal playlist is brilliant, That’ll get me in the mood to sink some ships!

P.S. You also can try to use SoundCloudThats cool, when I started listening to electronic music a few of years ago I found myself gravitating towards the harder end of the dubstep like Code: Pandorum, Excision, Destriod, but i do like a lot of trap and glitch hop too which is more groove. My wife doesn’t understand my new love of the electric music since when she meet me I was playing in a black metal band. 🙂
I actually didn’t think about geo-locking on YouTube. I remember seeing somewhere that Germany bears the worst of that practice. I currently live in Egypt so I’m using a vpn to get around that kinda stuff when i need to.
I actually use sound cloud but didn’t think to use it
@GodsDead we could have a shared playlist on Spotify! That metal playlist is brilliant, That’ll get me in the mood to sink some ships!
A shared Spotify playlist would be sweet and pretty eclectic considering the wide range and age of the folks on the server.
The metal playlist is what I listen to most. It makes mob hunting a lot more exciting or really anything more exciting. hahaha I ended up with a bunch of old skool punk rock in that list after I came across a GBH video. Got all nostalgic thinking about skating all night getting into mischief back in the 80’s. But for gaming you can’t beat Dying Fetus or Cattle Decapitation.
@CrazyPirate the Dropkick Murphys do rock. I’ll have to add that to the list. As far as Irish drinkin music goes I’m a big fan of the Pouges.
February 9, 2016 at 7:54 am #29323Slightly off topic here, but @godsdead
When someone tags me as @crazypirate1, I get a notification and can follow it to where I was tagged. However, when @crazypirate is used, I still get a notification, but cannot find where I was tagged. Its odd, and it means I often get ‘ghost’ tags, like the post above; I was tagged 5 times this morning, 1 of them in the mortars post, and 4 above, yet I was only able to see the Mortar post ;P
Also, back on topic, I find Funky Panda to be a decent channel for content, and one of my favourite gym songs is
February 9, 2016 at 6:01 pm #29383In answer to the question what music do you listen to when playing, heres the playlist I pop on when I am online. I suppose some people may take some slight offence to some of the songs, but they’re generally alright for everyone.
I dont just limit myself to these songs though, quite often I like to watch recordings of concerts the bands have played.
Disclaimer – Some of the songs by The Selecter might have swear words in them, and I think one of the songs by The Specials has some offensive language.
