{This is the second time james_games_ has changed his name to deliberately annoy me. the first time he changed it to James_Is_White to mirror my Nitro_Is_Asian username. then he changed it more recently to TacoJames to mock NitroDaTaco after i politely asked him to change his name.

Just a thought here. What if you don’t give him any attention for this crap? Personally, I think he does this because you react to it, so why not ignore him? Make it seem you don’t give a damn.

It’s not similar enough to cause a lot of confusion, so I don’t think there’s really any reason for him to change his username.

Considering other people have been banned for doing things similar, and have gotten in trouble.

I think its reasonable to maybe give James a nick / ban if he doesn’t accept the nick.

He knows what hes doing and hes doing it because it irritates Nitro solely because he wants to be a pain.

No reason not to punish him if that’s all he wants to do on the server.

Hey Guys! I’m so sorry about this situation. The first time I did it I had permission from Lego and staff that the username wasn’t close enough that it wasn’t bannable. I didn’t even know Nitro and I just thought it was funny. I never encouraged a friend to do it as well. For the TacoJames part, I had no intent in copying Nitro, I was in discord and somebody was talking about tacos, and Nitro asked me to change my name earlier so I thought TacoJames would be good. When I logged on I saw nitro’s distraught and I immediately realized my mistake. I apologized numerous times and even went on the Java website and sent 5 requests to change my username (Hopefully they don’t hate me and will respond.) I will change this mistake in 28 days, and Nitro, just please know I was not trying to mock you. You’re a very respectable player and I like to friends, not enemies. Thanks -James

See, how is this different than any trend we have here?
Shrek, for example, had many followers. If anything, that’d be a worthy report only because everyone looked absolutely ridiculous! Now, because of ‘taco’?
When does the thought ” grow up ” ever cross both of your minds? Hm… Does it? Or, anyone’s mind, it’s childish to copy, but…
Personally, I can’t see how this specific copy changes ANYTHING. Excuse how blunt I am being, but I do not see how a similar name ruins your gaming experience, and it seems even more childish to pursue punishment over that – don’t you think?
May be annoying, but sometimes we just need to suck it up. Remind me, but did Gods freak out after the ‘godsbread’ joke?
