So recently, I have been thinking, I am not apart of the crew Ender, but in game I follow Enderism. I also have noticed there are a few server religions with untapped potential just waiting to make their way to the mainstream, namely being the church of the notch apple and the notch shrine at the new marketplace. I think we should start picking religions our in game characters will have, as it will add more layers to the role playing aspect of the server, and could lead to some interesting predicaments. . .
What I am referring to here are some crews could make a religion the official religion of that crew, why might this be cool? Well, for starters, this opens up the idea of a “holy war” where crews of certain server religions will duke it out to gain religious prominence, we could even have crew-sades if we wanted!
Now, what i would not like this to turn into is real life political and ideological tension, so I would suggest making up religions as apposed to using real life ones, I simply think this could be a useful, fun, and easy layer to add to our RP experience on this server, without having to turn sour.
Let me know what you think, and be sure not to start anything just because religion was brought up 🙂
