I was banned for using another account??

Hello my names earthrat on minecraft. I just started playing today actually a friend ask me to come play on the server with him and I happily did. As we were playing we continued to get more and more loot and I killed a few people. As I was stalking a guy I logged out. Logged back in and the game randomly kicked me. I thought nothing of this until i tried to log back in and it said I was banned for using another account. Im not sure what this means and im not sure what it means to be banned for using another account considering that this is my first time playing on the server. Im looking forward to your reply soon. If theres any thing that we can do to figure this out I would appreciate that

Alt account is using another account on the server to benefit yourself in some way.

So if you log into the server with 1 account, and then another it will automatically be logged as an alternative account to staff.

Hmm, I know smokey had the same guy throw about 20 alts at her the other day, who banned you and what was your friends in game name?

I dont know the guy named Mackattack I was not on long enough for that. I only really played for about two hours. There could be some sort of mix up with my IP I use a IP protector to protect my IP from hackers. Things have happened in the past and ive used it since. My friends name that I was playing with was VVildc4rd. From my knowledge he does not have a bad reputation. But I would just like to be unbanned I feel this is a big misunderstanding and I am really enjoying the server.

Did an alt check, turned up 4 other accounts from the same IP. clemsonboizz, earthrat, Aduvta, GetHackedBrah

Looking at that last username, it seems as if you were the chap that was abusing my staff by using alts.

For transparency this guy was also PM’ing me to bypass his alt ban.

Please explain the 4 other accounts you are joining from.

I live in a apartment building with a few friends who also play minecraft. The other three accounts are my room mates accounts they logged in using Aduvta, clemsonboizz and GetHackBrah. But were also banned and dident care much as I do considering that they do not play minecraft as much as they used to. I have no interest or intentions in attacking staff members with other accounts and if I did I certainly wouldn’t post a forum saying i would like to be unbanned. So may I be unbanned. I enjoy the server and have no bad intentions for the server.

Okay

The reason I banned you is because you IP flagged as another player not the current ones listed under this IP. There for I am curious of how that changed :-). I have also had a report of you asking about old players in the server which makes me wonder how new you actually might be. Currently to me the story isn’t adding up and I am having to put on waders to trudge through the bull. At this point my ban is staying put.

Okay Finally say and don’t private message me anymore please. Your ip has changed 3 times there for I do not have any reason to believe it was your roommates account. So take this statement as a NO you are not getting unbanned and it wasn’t a bloody mistake. I checked my logs just to verify that it wasn’t.
