Many players remember the, now banned, player _Lego_ ; the infamous raider and member of Lotus (citation needed) but not one of them expected his name to pop up during an otherwise normal day on the piratecraft server. Perhaps in an attempt to remind the world that they are still remembered by him, Lego voted for the server on one of the websites that allows you to do this causing an automated message to come up with his name on it.
In response to this shocking turn of events many Pirates left messages in the chat, with one anonymous pirate going so far as to say “love you lego” in the hope that he would see this from the live map.
This contact from Lego has sparked one of the most controversial issues in Piratecraft today: Should Lego be unbanned?
Post your thoughts below.

January 9, 2016 at 10:24 pm #27018I really miss him myself also. He brought a spark to the server that we need once again.

From what I’ve heard, he was told by one admin that what he did was allowed and then was banned by another. This lack of communication about the rules between the admins is quite a problem. I think Lego should be unbanned because if he was actually told by one of the admins that what he did was fine, then this isn’t his fault.
January 9, 2016 at 10:52 pm #27022What lego and I did was actually quite smart. We build a river around a base, and built a boat in it, while they were online and being sieged by someone. From the boat, in the unclaimed area, we made a crane, which fit in front of the iron door, which was facing inwards (there was a ledge). On the end of said crane was a wooden button; as many people as we could fit sat on the ledge, the boat moved into the claim, or nearer to it, and the button was shot, hence gaining us access to the claim.
Now, this method had been used in the past, and there were tutorials on the forums regarding how to do it. I’m not disputing the warning, due to rule 3 (I think that’s the one, about not arguing with staff) but the method had been used before, with no staff objections, and it was really quite annoying to see lego banned over such a trivial matter, let alone the fact we were unaware of the rule’s existence.
My personal opinion is that if someone takes the time to build a contraption that can worm it’s way around your base, so that access can be gained to it, they are not at fault; it is a siege weapon, much like a catapult. It’s always the duty of the defender to protect the base; a simple double iron door would prevent this from happening, as would flint and steel.
Idk, just my two pennies.
January 9, 2016 at 11:04 pm #27024@crazypirate I respect what you have to say there. I’ve used similar techniques to raid people myself.

@CrazyPirate1 – That’s not the only smart method of raiding that’s been banned neither. Nether portal raiding was a fairly balanced and easy method to counter, but it was banned for some reason and to this day, I still don’t understand or see any legitment reason to it’s ban. Oh, and why would placing two iron doors counter using a wooden button? Buttons can still open one iron door when there’s a second one.
January 10, 2016 at 6:28 am #27066Elex Supported Someone! Miracle!
And yes I miss lego, I still remember my days as a noob, Lego used to raid me with Gen Ben but he stopped soon after and made me an ally, Gen Ben continued and got banned 😛
I miss Lego, Please Let him back, Give him one more chance. If he messes up this time then I wont object the ban. Also if lego comes back, I might join in back for raids and chit chats 😛
January 10, 2016 at 7:32 am #27072Elex, the design basically means you manage to get a wooden button in front of an iron door; you shoot it, hence opening that iron door. If there is a slight corridor, even 1 or 2 blocks long, that leads to another iron door, it would be impossible to get the design in any further, to open the next door.
It’s smart, and not commonly used, and is easy to prep against. But, it cost lego his existence on this server (sniffles).
