I recently stumbled upon this and it just blew my mind. No matter if you’re a BE architect (you’re welcome gildor 😉 ), a plundering pirate, or a box building barnacle, you’ll get a kick out of this.

In summary, a build team by the name of Blockworks created the city of historical London within Minecraft; commissioned by none other than the Museum of London herself! Everything within the protection of the old Roman walls was hand built themselves, but what about the rest of the city? A man by the name of Adrian created a program to generate Olde London styled buildings for him! The best part is, they burned it all down, recreating the Great Fire of London!

The overall grandeur and genius of this build is simply extraordinary! Here’s the link to the article for all that are interested. https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/coding-ye-olde-london

P.S. This Adrian guy procedurally generated an entire Armada as another project. He’s one sick dude!

    Anyways, enjoy 😀

Yeah, the first map is really cool with all kinds of collectibles. I spent a good two or three hours looking for them. The second map (great fire) was glitchy for me, so I never got round to finishing it.

The layout and detail is simply fantastic! Though I personally (and obviously) prefer our crew’s version of the White Tower, you can’t argue that the British Museum got the dimensions spot on. Now if only we had unlimited claim blocks… >.<
