Right, I’ve always fancied the idea of cavalry, but in minecraft, it just doesn’t work. Horses are difficult to breed, and have limited combat ability. But then I found this:

Its not just the breeding, it adds combat abilities to horses, which mean they will no longer be irrelevant. It seems quite well done, and the old empires used horses extensively.

Horses are NOT hard to breed; I have like 4 stables across the world with 20-40 horses in each stable. I make a business from it, so breeding isn’t hard at all.

Adding combat stats would be good, especially with horse armor being fairly abundant! The breeding system seems pretty cool as well. The grief prevention I don’t know… I think since horses are unkillable in claims; the only thing needing worried about is protection of saddles and armor etc; protecting ‘your horse’ might be a bad thing if you are breeding to sell them.

However; I’d be pretty upset if horses were warpable, after spending days to carry herds of horses all over the map, just so I could corner that market. I doubt anyone who’s spent a long while on herding horses around the world would enjoy it if suddenly their hard work was irrelevant.

I sympathize with azuries point of sight.

Breeding horses really isn’t that hard.
I have a stable and can easily focus on breeding strong horses.

THe combat idea seems redundant to me since speed and strength add to a bonus on the side of the rider already.

Also i am an enemy of warping too much at all since i prefer more “Normal” servers and it could be exployted.
