Hey guys,
After a time spent in the BE, I realise that there is to real honours system, so I decided to suggest to the government they introduce a knighthoods system. Me and Gildor had a brief conversation, but I decided it would be best to make a post about it, so I have done so. I have invented some rules and customs etc which the empire could adopt if they so wish:
– Baronets ( basically a hereditary knighthood in real life Britain, calling knights baronets would add a touch of authenticity ) are non – elected aristocrats, but unlike lords have no political power.
– Baronets can choose to be sir someone of somewhere, the same as lords.
– Potential baronets are selected by their senior, for example an admiral recommending a commodore. After a candidate has been nominated, ( for say a successful military campaign, string of well designed buildings, a particularly good term in office and so on ) four or more government ministers must agree for the candidate to be awarded the title. Baronets are created in a ceremony in St Paul’s cathedral.
– The system is currently a bit by and large and requires some rethinking.

Horatio NelsonApril 20, 2017 at 3:18 pm #49258I dont even know if I am allowed to comment here but Snap you suggested the same thing in EM so the Knights of Reptaria were formed . You were never given the title yet you always claimed to have it , wearing that red scarf that “comes with the title” “to test it on your skin” and now you have the title in your signature , if you’d be kind enough as to remove that , it would be amazing.
April 20, 2017 at 3:28 pm #49260k kenzo, it’s not that red scarf thing, I just put it so people knew i was in EM. Come to think of it I’ve never put my crew history in my signature so I’ll do that.
