Brewing Darkbeer Bug

There seems to be a bug when making Darkbeer. Currently, Darkbeer is created by boiling 6 pieces of wheat in a cauldron, then letting it ferment for 8 days in a spruce barrel. The recipe for regular beer is identical, except that it only needs to ferment for 2 days in any type of barrel.

The problem is that when I put my boiled wheat product in the spruce barrel, I only get regular beer produced. Is it possible for an admin to edit the recipe so that the two aren`t identical? If Darkbeer required 5 or 7 wheat instead of 6, it would stop regular beer from being made.

It’s not a big issue, but just something I thought I’d note.

I think you are using the wrong barrel, try Acacia barrel, there are 3 beers, each with 3 stages, so there are 9 beers.

Have you TRIED it? Link me to the “recipe” page, I specifically don’t show recipe’s on the website so that players can trade recipe’s in-game, or people have to figure out the recipe, So Im not sure what you are following, but I looked into the configs directly.

Im about 95% sure this is NOT a bug, just user error not getting the right recipe.

I’m 100% positive. I tested all the barrels and left them over night. I now have “Fine Beer” that is literally 52 years old, but not a single Darkbeer. I tested oak, spruce, jungle, acacia, and dark oak barrels. All the same.
