Staff Abuse of Power to Raid other Despite not really needing what the person has. Ruining the game in my opinion… with proof and reason.

Lets start this off somewhere later. I had just been on the server for some time and had already been killed and looted when I befriended MysticTitan. He gave me some of his old semi-op armor which I fixed up and used and I lived in his massive mine in the mesa and I was finally having fun on the server. This server although it has so much potential is incredibly hard to get started on and I felt awesome and was having so much fun I was even going to ask my friends to join me on it. It began when I was hanging out in the shop, I had the intentions of renting one so I was looking at my options and formulating competitive prices when a another player started shooting flame arrows at me despite me only being in non enchanted iron as to not raise suspicion. I got scared because even though you can’t be harmed in the shop why was he stalking me so I logged off for a bit then rejoined and asked The_Network to be sure I was safe in the shop, he said yes and told me if I was scared then buy an invis potion to go home so they wouldn’t know where my home was. So I listened to him and did so but upon getting home I was instantly and I mean instantly attacked by a man in op dia who proceeded to steal everything I had and everything of value Mystic had there before he called in his friend Smokey who also proceeded in this killing and plundering. Now I understand that thats all fine and sadly raiding to this scale is allowed but something doesn’t add up. In the beginning it was him(Network) at the shop bowing at me but why, he knew he could hurt me so I deduced it was to scare me into going back home so he could learn where that is. So not knowing it was him at the shop I asked him about it and he told me to use and invis pot to hide my location. But in doing so I was still slaughtered at my house. He told me I would be safe so why would a staff member who’s job I had thought was to guide and give advice not lie and cheat would do such a thing. His confession to tricking me is the first link below. So I took it to Network thinking he could explain his actions. And he chose to come up with lame excuses and flat out not respond at all, not what a staff member should do(shown in second link). Later on he would tell me that he got into the base using an old strip-mine that led to a cave system which is how he got into the claim. Which makes sense but how in the world could he find it seeing as the claim is thousands of blocks and the cave systems around it are incredibly massive it would be nearly impossible for him to find me in the short time(less than an hour) he has been targeting me. What also doesn’t make sense about this whole thing is why was he shooting at me at the shop from the roof why would he do that other than to get me to go home and figure out where I lived. And seeing as after this I didn’t go home till I had the invis pot how in the world did he find me so quickly. I went home and within a minute he sprung out and killed me. Is he saying that in me doing /home while under an invis pot he was able to find me, find the strip mine in some remote cave system around a thousand block+ claim run through it and kill me. Thats nearly impossible, also why would he do something like that. He is after all part of the staff who from my perspective were trustworthy and nice, not brutal and mean. It may just be me but something doesn’t add up here and I’m quite tired of the little guess being picked on. Very few people help us and almost everyone kills us, if you’re server dies then I believe this will be the problem. Another issue I have is that The_Network is still a deckhand yet his items even surpass that of first mates. Along with that its not like he really needed what I had. My armor was surely not as good as his and to just take away my hours of work is mentally taxing on me. Along with this he claimed to have tricked me to use an invis pot to learn my home because it doesn’t actually hide you. Well that doesn’t make sense at all why do so many op people use invis pots and why when I asked a donator(the third link) did she say that invis pots hide you. So if they really do hide you and The_Network claims that they don’t which is how he found me then he must be lying why does he even use invis pots if he “supposedly” thinks they do nothing. So if he says he tricked me to go home using an invis pot which doesn’t hide you when they really do hide you then that proves he must have abused is staff powers in some way. He claims to have found my home because I used an invis pot, which is impossible because they do hide you so if they really do hide you then how did he find me. And how did he find me so quickly. This may have been long and I hope you understand my reasoning, I only want to play on this server and have fun not having to constantly be set back time and time again wasting precious days of my life and yet I come back because this server is truly fun when you begin to “get good” but that part of it is so hard especially with people like The_Network.(in my opinion the fact that he even raided me is bad enough as he is a staff member and should rather be promoting other having fun and giving, i think Lucky_Da_Freak does this and really made my experience better) Thank You for considering my report. First of all, the FIRST rule when you post in this forum litearlly states in BIG CAPS LETTERS:
NO DRAMA. Writing a wall of drama text will just be closed, get to the point!
So, With that in mind, your post has already been discarded as bullshit drama as you let your emotions get in the way of your “report”
Secondly, Why are staff not allowed to play? Moderators have no other gameplay perks that normal players, they can just punish. There is litearlly nothing in that giant wall of dramatic butt-hurt that would even class as a minor offence from a player, let alone ” staff abuse of powers” ABOOSE OF POWERS, haha jebus.

This post was highly unexpected, but I don’t mind explaining my raid one bit. When I’m not being a staff and enforcing rules, I am just as much a player as anyone else on the server. That being said, I logged on, saw you on map in that land. I wrote down the coordinates, grabbed my elytra, and flew to your location. By the time I got there, you had teleported to shops. So during that time I found an entrance from the surface via a cave system. I spent a reasonable amount of time looking for any hint of mining (ie: torch, crafting table, furnace). Just as I was about to give up, I found a crafting table and furnace on the side of a ravine. I followed the connecting tunnel until I found what looked to be a strip mine. This of course led me right to a underground quarry you said Mystic had dug. I see stairways going up and sure enough, your base is on the side of it with a decent sized chest room. Now that I had your exact location, I just needed you to go home. For some reason you sat at shops for a long time, so I decided to try to spook you into going home. I saved my /back and went to shops. When asked I denied it being me and convinced you to get an invis and go home so no one sees where you live (having already known where you may spawn). I then used my /back, and hid right where I presumed you’d be. Then I logged. Now it was a waiting game. I watched map carefully and once I saw you disappear from map, I knew you must have gone home. Waiting a few extra seconds, I logged in and sure enough you were right next to me. You had even opened one of the two locked chests. I instantly killed you to see if you had any ores or anything on you and to my surprise, you had a lot. After looting what I wanted, I even showed you where I got in to be nice. Not everyone does that. So in the end, I hope you see there was no foul play in the slightest. I simply went in and made a plan as I went along.
Sorry that you feel that I wronged you, but this is the name of the game. We are pirates. We loot and plunder. In the end this happens to so many people and most get back up on their feet. I’ve seen people stripped of more loot than you had that managed to double their wealth later on. Mystic for example (the man who’s claim you were living in) lost everything he had twice I’m pretty sure, once very recently (Back in August, I’ll link the video below). He is now one of the richest players on the server. So as you see, all it takes is hard work and actually securing your base and it is easy to avoid getting raided. Lock your chests. Close your rooms with iron doors. It’s not hard, just a matter of putting in the work.
