If you read the wiki page revision history, it was actually added in yesterday by LEGO. However, as he is a wiki admin, this is probably because staff/gods told him to put it in after they all discussed the situation. Also, if you read gods’ response, he never says anything specifically about it.

As a side note, if I understand the situation correctly, it seems that BassQueen808 clicked a lever which in turn pulled back a piston that revealed the sign. Since BassQueen808 was spam-clicking, he clicked the sign immediately after he click the lever, giving him no time to react. I am not sure how this is considered abusing game mechanics. I can’t believe I’m actually defending GingfulGlider, but I simply don’t see how something that is simple deception could be mistaken as a grave offense against the rules and be handled with severe consequences.

As another side note, I suggest updating the official /rules in-game and https://piratemc.com/information/rules/ as people (especially new players) are more likely to see those than a wiki post that they probably don’t even know exists. They are also more likely to trust those sources, as they are not able to be easily altered by people with malicious intent. Also, so that everyone knows of rule updates and cannot miss them, I suggest putting a note in the in-game motd whenever a rule is updated/added/deleted.
