We have some big plans for PirateCraft that require a lot more resources, I can happily say we have now completed the migration to a new bigger, stronger, faster server! It seems like only yesterday I was configuring PirateCraft plugins on SuperGL’s 5 Slot 10 year old home-hosted desktop tower, PirateCraft is now 50 slots, we wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for all our amazing Donators & ever growing community so a giant thank you to everyone.
In the process of changing servers we lost our old IP, which is now probily in the hands of another minecraft server owner, to make sure you can connect to the new PirateCraft server connect using mc.piratemc.com If we ever change servers again, this domain will automatically update and you wont have to change the server IP again.
With the new power available I wanted to re-render the map in super HD, If you head on over to the Live map page and zoom in you can now see the incredible detail of builds anywhere on the map, here’s some quickly snapped screenshots.
To follow up from the server upgrade I would like to introduce our brand spanking new Teamspeak 3 voice server! ts.piratemc.com
We have a boatload of pre-defined channels and anyone can create a new channel if you wish to have a secret password protected Siege chat! Each channel has its own Voice, Text chat and File manager, to help organise builds and events.
Markusi13 will be in charge of managing day-to-day running of the Teamspeak server so any queries or requests go to him.
To join you will need to download and install the Teamspeak 3 client for your operating system, from here.
