So im out of town for the next few days, While I was on the road PirateCrafts mysql server went down and its currently suspended for unknown reasons, I have been waiting since last night for my host to restore service.

Mysql stores all the information for claims, and since these were down there has been server wide destruction, I will be rolling back the server to the backup from 31/07/14 @ 00:01:02.

I cannot do this until our services are restored though, so anything that’s happened after this date will be lost.

Was that last backup file before the destruction happened?

and

Can you perma ban the 3 deckhands that were raiding and griefing everyone?

@dagster8 It means replacing the world with an older backup

@aniviankevinlu the date is written in the main post.

Yes I can ban them.

This is an absolutely awful time for this to happen, Im hoping the backup system will work without flaw.

For now, I have whitelisted the server and am STILL waiting on my hosting to enable my mysql storage again.

@lstace yes the world will rollback, that includes all inventory being reset to the date shown in the first post.

I haven’t used this restore system before, So I hope it work without hitch.

I logged on last night around 2:00 am MST (USA) and was shocked. I have not seen on any server this level of vandalism and grief in a long time. Shame people enjoy destruction and grief more than building. Good luck with the roll back.

Thanks @wogworld I’m still waiting on a response from my host, the fact the mysql server went down is one thing, but I haven’t even had a response from them, let alone fixed it is another!

I just hope that the rollback works without flaw, its should be a one click job, Just waiting for our claims to come back.

I have some evidence!!

OK last night I was on the server about 1:30 to 2:00am ya know just to do some work on the castle then all of a sudden in chat my friend sab said this

plz

so I said hey sab but no responce i then checked to see if he was online but he was not online i went to shop and it’s gone and warp sky shop is in an abandon mine.

i continued to talk in chat yet it showed I was the only one on, but then i thought

he is in vanish but you dont get that permission on the server, HACK CLIENT.

I knew somthing was up and now i thinking was one of the people who did it. it is to wierd cause it seems as tho he was talking to someone in msg.

Somthing strange happend last night idk what but ik that he spoke in chat yesterday tho not online.

I we to to go see if it was a glitch but he still was not online.

EVERYONE GUARD YOUR HOMES AND RICHES CAUSE THE SERVER IS UNDER ATTACK

You know Tom when I was a moderator on a Tekkit site (also a Movecraft server) we NEVER had grief, yes the occasional nuclear reactor would go wild weasel and blow half a town to hell (think 45 block diameter crater) but mostly good guys that just wanted to build cool machines.

I’ve seen dozens of roll backs, you’ll be fine, it’s just a pain for the guys that did builds from last save point…

In times of crisis, the best thing to do is to share a badly punctuated story and use caps lock. Btw godsdead, with regards to the server going back, will peoples valence also go back to that time, or will balance remain as it is?

I have still not even had a reply from our Hosting, they caused this problem and they have suspended our web hosting/mysql account without reason, I think its a mistake, I cannot do anything until our mysql is back up.
